Formula Overview
$32.00/0.05 oz. - $640.00 Per Ounce
The formula is described as having "vivid" color in "one effortless stroke" with "comfortable" wear for six hours. It had a smooth, creamy consistency that was lightweight, moderately emollient, and comfortable to apply and to wear. The formula delivered mostly opaque to full color coverage in one layer, as marketed, though six-hour wear was the aspect it didn't live up to.
It felt like a typical, creamy lipstick formula (I don't say that in a bad way!) so it not lasting six hours wasn't a surprise, but most shades wore well for four hours and were moisturizing while worn. The lipstick applied evenly for the most part, had a more luminous finish (both shine and pearl), and wore for four hours in most cases. The formula felt hydrating while worn.
The biggest downside was the slim packaging only accommodated 0.05 oz. of product, whereas traditional lipsticks contain around 0.10 oz. on average.

Joy looks very 60’s retro …in a bad way! I have MAC Shy Girl, which doesn’t look so ridiculously frosty, just luminous. I’ll stick with that.
Bliss is a gem, though! I do have UD Outspoken from several years ago. If it hasn’t gone off, then I may be able to talk myself out of Bliss.
They’re OK – but not great for the price – and Joy doesn’t look that joyful a colour either.
Both are pretty, but only Bliss would suit me. It seems I have no dupes for Bliss so on to the WL it goes.
