Korres Pomegranate Lip Butter Glaze Review, Photos, Swatches
Korres Pomegranate Lip Butter Glaze
Bringin’ Back Coral to Cure the Winter Blues (and Dehydration!)
Korres Pomegranate Lip Butter Glaze ($14.00 for 0.34 oz.) is described as a “sheer coral.” It’s a brightened pink-tinged coral with a glossy shine. NARS Viva is pinker. Revlon Papaya is pinker and brighter. MAC Whoops! is darker. Hourglass Nectar is pinker/redder. MAC Exxxhibitionist is brighter. MAC Viva Glam Cyndi is redder.
Grr! Korres says this is sheer, but it’s so very not sheer at all. It’s very nearly opaque with the barest translucency, and I think it makes the product look incredibly lush and juicy on the lips, but it’s not as described! The texture is very slick, not quite a gloss but thicker and shinier than the traditional lip balm. It’s very movable on the lips as you wear it, but it always remains non-sticky and has a sweet, vanilla scent.
Pomegranate lasted three hours on me, and after wearing it for a full day, it is definitely a hydrating formula. If you struggle with dry lips in the winter but still want to wear color on your lips, this is something to consider. The slick consistency means this can slide around easily, but I did not have trouble with the color bunching up or looking uneven with this shade.

This is pretty! Bonus that it’s so moisturizing and opaque 🙂
Sigh. You make everything look so good!
Definitely need this in my life for the upcoming Australian summer!! 🙂
I really like this color and the way it looks, will consider buying this 😀 .
I adore all of Korres’ lip butters and glazes. I was lucky enough to find these in the clearance section of Sephora for $4 each. I bought 10 which contained all the shades 😀
I never find deals like this at my Sephora, I’m sooo jealous 🙂
Oh that really IS quite opaque–I like it though! I am a huge fan of comfortable lip color and this one would be perfect for me! That color is just beautiful!
I have Wild Rose and Raspberry, but now I might get this, too 🙂 I Just wish I could get them to apply more evenly.
Oooh, this looks so nice on you!
I like the almost opaque/transparency look to it. It looks very hydrating and juicy too, haha.
This lippie has been sitting on my table for months now…. untouched. I definitely will give it a try right now. 😀
Wow this really is so pigmented! Weird description. It’s such a pretty color though, it’s definitely something I would wear. I actually wasn’t too interested in these before reading your review. The name Glaze – I just associate with really thick, sticky gloss. But these actually sound great, especially right now with winter dryness.
Not a fan of formulae that tend to move around but it sure looks juicy on the lips! You look super pretty here Christine!
