KIKO 106 Beige Rose & 107 Tomato Soft Touch Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
KIKO 106 Beige Rose Soft Touch Blush
KIKO 106 Beige Rose Soft Touch Blush ($12.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a slightly muted, medium brown with warm, reddish tones and a satin finish. It had good pigmentation with a very smooth, blendable consistency. It wasn’t stiff, but the texture was firmer relative to a lot of the other shades in the range (which tended to be a little powdery in the pan). This shade wore well for seven and a half hours before fading. Anastasia Chocolate (LE, ) is less shimmery (95% similar). ColourPop Construct (LE, $12.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Becca Sweet Pea (P, $32.00) is lighter (90% similar). Kevyn Aucoin Natura (P, $37.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). MAC Cantaloupe (P, $24.00) is lighter, brighter, warmer (90% similar). bareMinerals The Close Call (PiP, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter (90% similar). NARS Spin Off (LE, $30.00) is more shimmery, warmer (90% similar). Bite Beauty Blondie (P, $24.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). Burberry Earthy (P, $42.00) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (90% similar). MAC Harmony (P, $24.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). Becca Amaretto (LE, $32.00) is cooler (90% similar). Stellar Beauty Eclipse (P, $25.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). NARS Douceur (P, $30.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). MAC Humour Me (P, $29.00) is cooler (85% similar). ColourPop Fashion District (LE, $12.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (85% similar). Laura Mercier Earth (LE, $24.00) is less shimmery, warmer (85% similar). KIKO 107 Tomato Soft Touch Blush ($12.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark reddish-coral with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had good color payoff with a soft, fairly blendable texture. It could have been easier to apply and diffuse on the skin, but it wasn’t a fight to even it out–fairer skin tones may prefer something more foolproof, though. The color lasted for eight hours on me. MAC Flirting with Danger (P, $29.00) is lighter (95% similar). NARS Savage (P, $30.00) is less shimmery, darker (95% similar). Milani Bronze Burst #3 (PiP, ) is brighter (95% similar). Smashbox Geranium (LE, ) is lighter (90% similar). Zoeva Underneath the Gold (LE, ) is darker, cooler (90% similar). ColourPop Never Been Kissed (LE, $8.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). Milani Bronze Burst #4 (PiP, ) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Huda Beauty Sassy Saffron (P, $21.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). ColourPop Luv Me Not (LE, $12.00) is brighter, cooler (90% similar). ColourPop Fruit Stand (DC, $8.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). Clinique Ginger Pop (01) (P, $21.00) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). MAC Adobe Brick (LE, $24.00) is brighter (85% similar). Guerlain Coral Blush (LE, ) is lighter (85% similar). Edward Bess Secret Affair (P, $43.00) is lighter (85% similar). NYX Tuscan (P, $6.50) is lighter, cooler (85% similar). ColourPop Ex (LE, $5.00) is lighter, brighter (85% similar). Estee Lauder Poppy Passion (P, $34.00) is cooler (85% similar). Chanel Rouge Profond (320) (P, $45.00) is darker, cooler (85% similar). Tom Ford Beauty Flush (Discontinued) (DC, $60.00) is lighter, brighter (80% similar). MAC Fleeting Romance (P, $23.50) is lighter (80% similar). Top 20 dupes listed, see the rest. FORMULA OVERVIEW | KIKO Soft Touch Blush ($12.00 for 0.17 oz.) is supposed to be a “radiant and highly pigmented blush” with “long lasting colour.” It’s a powder blush that has a thinner, fairly smooth, blendable texture that ranges from semi-opaque to mostly opaque coverage. Most shades are matte to satin with the more matte shades still having a natural-looking finish to them (not flat or dry-looking applied). The wear has varied from six to eight hours depending on the shade.
Per readers comments, it appears these have been discontinued in some countries, though all shades except one appear to be available on the U.S. website. (It’s hard to tell if they’re just on sale, as they’re presently available for $3.90 a pop instead of $12, or if they are discounted to move, as I have seen KIKO do 30-50% off before.) I wasn’t intending to review these back-to-back but will be doing my best to get reviews out quickly in light of seeming to be discontinued. Readers have said the replacement is the Shade Fusion Trio Blush (which I haven’t tried, so I don’t know anything about), which would sure be a bummer, since it is more expensive and a trio of shades, so it is different enough that it doesn’t seem like a true replacement to me (boo!).

Beige Rose looks much more intense than I would have thought.
Several of KIKO’s names are a little… less than informative, lol.
I expected tomato red. Noticed names are funny. Wonder if Italian translations make more sense.
Looking at Tomato made me want a tomato. Badly.
I’m WEIRD.
LOL!
Tomato is pretty!
It is!
Tomato instantly reminded me of MAC Pinch Me!
Nice 🙂
I love Beige Rose! Very pretty shade. My card finally came and looks like the sale has ended? I may need to try to snag a few of these before they are gone!
No! I was wrong..still on sale on US site!
Glad you were able to see them still on sale, Nicole! 🙂
I love your whole makeup look with the Beige Rose blush, Christine! Very vibrant and pretty!
Thank you, Pteetsa!
I just placed an order and I knew I should have kept Tomato in my cart! On the bright side at least now I know I will actually LOVE Beige Rose.
Awww! One for two, at least!
Pretty!
Glad to hear it!
I love ’em both! Beige Rose is another very natural looking everyday type of blush that my stash needs more of. Tomato is one of Kiko’s blushes that has a name that fits, LoL! And I love it’s softer red flush. Having MAC Burnt Pepper, I probably don’t need Tomato, though.
We need more blushes like Beige Rose!
I like them both on you. I love Beige Rose but I might have to use it with a fan brush! It’s intense!
I could see a fan brush being useful with it!
Very intense blushes – suitable for warmer or more olive complexions than mine. They look great on you Christine.
Thanks, Genevieve!
Christine, do you think wear time could be improved by using a primer and/or setting spray?
It definitely wouldn’t hurt! I test over bare skin (no primer, no foundation!), so I’m sure it would help.
Some pretty shades but yeah, this blush formula no longer appears on the UK site so I would guess discontinued. The Shade Fusion Trio and the stick blush are the only permanent collection blushes I can see now.
My favourite KIKO product would have to be the long lasting stick eyeshadow. Giant range of shades and they’re awesome!
It’s so odd to me to discontinue your single blush in lieu of trios 🙁
