KIKO 100 Cookie & 102 Natural Pink Soft Touch Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
KIKO 100 Cookie Soft Touch Blush
KIKO Soft Touch Blush ($12.00 for 0.17 oz.) is supposed to be a “radiant and highly pigmented blush” with “long lasting colour.” It’s a powder blush that has a thinner, fairly smooth, blendable texture that ranges from semi-opaque to mostly opaque coverage. Most shades are matte to satin with the more matte shades still having a natural-looking finish to them (not flat or dry-looking applied). The wear has varied from six to eight hours depending on the shade.
Per readers comments, it appears these have been discontinued in some countries, though all shades except one appear to be available on the U.S. website. (It’s hard to tell if they’re just on sale, as they’re presently available for $3.90 a pop instead of $12, or if they are discounted to move, as I have seen KIKO do 30-50% off before.) I wasn’t intending to review these back-to-back but will be doing my best to get reviews out quickly in light of seeming to be discontinued. Readers have said the replacement is the Shade Fusion Trio Blush (which I haven’t tried, so I don’t know anything about), which would sure be a bummer, since it is more expensive and a trio of shades, so it is different enough that it doesn’t seem like a true replacement to me (boo!).
KIKO 100 Cookie Soft Touch Blush ($12.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a medium-dark, caramel brown with warm, yellow-orange tones and a satin finish. It had good pigmentation with a soft, smooth, and blendable texture that applied evenly to the skin. This shade wore for seven hours on me before fading. How Natural Pink does compare to Tarte blush in exposed?

The packaging reminds me of Becca’s.
It is kind of similar!
I like natural pink. It’s just so… natural! I do not see these on the Dutch website of Kiko though. The trio blush is there. Maybe these just never came out here, but it might still happen, I’ll keep an eye on their website!
It definitely seems to be international readers who have mentioned not finding them on the site!
Ah, bummer! 🙁
I think Natural Pink is an interesting color, a warm pink that’s not too orange.
It is!
I love Cookie! How cute is the name?! Omg..no debit card replacement yet! this is sooo hard.
I hope you get your card soon!! It took me 2 weeks and five cards to get my replacement recently so I feel your pain 🙁
2 weeks! OMG…my heart just stopped! lol!
Both are so pretty on you! I like the Natural Pink for myself- it’s a shade I don’t have a lot of in my stash. Everytime I go on KIKO’s website I spend double the money I intended to! Love it when they have sale.
Thank you, Trish! They seem to have quite a lot of sales!
I think I can live with a B+ for Cookie. It looks very similar to my fave Korres #15 Natural blush, so I will definitely check it out.
It applies and looks good, just a little shy on the wear so not bad at all 🙂
Does the texture when you touch it feel similar to any another blush you can name?
Like most powder blushes to me!
How can say that? You review saying dry stiff powdery or smooth creamy blendable! You feel no difference between these and Love Lust and a MAC non mineral? Between Toofaced, Tarte, IT, NYX, Elf, Hourglass? These swatch so pretty I’m trying to ask you how it feels gliding finger across? Most comparable blush to it? It’s like saying all powder eyeshadows feel the same ?
I said they’re like your average powder blush 🙂 Tom Ford Blushes are different from most, as they are denser. These feel similar to MAC, Tarte, Too Faced, some NYX, etc. Hourglass is very loose/thin in the pan (lots of excess kicked up). I don’t know about e.l.f. There’s nothing remarkable about the texture that is really any different from most powder blushes, IMO. Most eyeshadows are either softer and denser, thinner and more powdery, or firmly packed, but they are not, by and large, that different across the board — same is true on blushes. There are a few types of textures, but they are also all pressed powders.
Gotcha. 🙂 Thank you! I 100% understand now why you said like any powder blush. Agree w explanation ?
Here in Italy these blushes aren’t available anymore… Considering this and the fact that the price is so low, I think it’s very likely that these are being discontinued in the US too. 🙁
Do you think that means they’re discontinuing their eyeshadow sticks, too? They are marked down similarly on the U.S. site!
I just checked in store (living near a Kiko shop is a nightmare for my poor wallet :P)… The eyeshadow sticks are still there, but the girl told me that a few colors were recently discontinued, at least here in Italy. In my opinion it’s possible that they’re doing the same thing in the US, marking down the soon-to-be-discontinued colors.
Hello,
I don’t think the long lasting stick shadow are going to be discontinued, they are still available in europe, and they are one of their bestsellers. In fact, the products I’m sure are going to be discontinued are the compact face powders in the black round packaging, the bronzers in the black packaging, and the luscious cream creamy lipstick, the crystal sheer-glossy lipstick and the luminous chrome-metallic lipsticks. These lines are all replaced with new packaging and new formulas and new colors. Price wise for the new blushes, it’s not more expensive in Europe, as the old ones were 7.50 euro for 5 grams, and the new ones are 6 grams for 8,90 euros. In fact, they are 10 cents cheaper. I don’t know about the price in the US, but the price of the new blush is higher, but you get more in terms of quantity of product. I hope that helps. If you have more questions about what’s going to be discontinued or not, you can message me 🙂
Christine, from my experience Kiko marks down limited editions or products that are going to be discontinued. However, here in Spain (and I imagine that everywhere in Europe) their classic eyeshadow sticks are permanent and they never go on sale (they aren’t now).
Gorgeous blushes for such a reasonable price.
The price is nice!
Pink Soft Touch is pretty, hope it’s not being DC’d, goes well with your lips and eye look
I hope they aren’t discontinued or maybe they’ll just be repackaged! I don’t think the trios are great replacements 🙁
I love Natural Pink, but it looks super dupe-able.
There are some dupes for it!
102 Natural Pink looks like something I would really love to have for a natural looking flush of color! Just perfect, so hopefully It’ll hang around a bit longer. It not, there are definitely some very lovely dupes available, which is a plus!
It is nice!
I think these blushes are not scary to wear! I love Cookie and It reminds me of Empire! lol
They are very easy shades to wear!
I’m going to jump on the “they’re probably getting discontinued here” boat because I was in one of the physical stores and these weren’t in the store at all (even as sale merchandise) which would lend support to that theory. I was kinda bummed, at that price I was going to try and pick one up!
Are you in the U.S. or another country, Carrie?
Los Angeles 🙂
Hey Christine, do a “introduction to” to Kiko! I think they have great products for cheap prices, but don’t really know where to start with the brand.
Sorry, this is the only formula I have tried – I am definitely new to the brand and am in NO way qualified to make recommendations for someone else new to the brand!
Nice. I like Natural Pink. I’ve never heard of this brand. Canada is not on their country list. Weird as they ship to many countries. USA website appears to be non North America inclusive and only ships to USA.
I agree! They have so many country-specific sites but no Canada?! What?!
I really like how Natural Pink looks on you.
Thank ya!
Hmmmmm thank you for putting light on a budget brand available in EU (have my cart open). Any plans to review more of their products? They seem decent enough. Their packaging is quite nice as well!
I don’t have anything ready to review other than these, sorry!
No problem! One can only hope 😀
Natural Pink is a nice one! I’d use it on flare up days.
Perfect!
Neither of these would work for me but they look lovely on you.
Thanks, El!
I only have a coral blush from them, n°103 Golden Peach, if you can get your hand on it get it ! It is amazing (at least for me it does wonders :D)
