Kevyn Aucoin Tropical Days (P, $48.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). Tarte Park Ave Princess (PiP, ) is darker (95% similar). Becca Topaz (P, $38.00) is more shimmery (95% similar). MAC Global Glow (P, $34.00) is lighter (90% similar). Viseart Highlight #3 (PiP, ) is brighter, warmer (90% similar). The Celestial Powder is supposed to give “an agenlic glow” that doesn’t look “glittery.” There are now three shades in the range (the other two are Candlelight and Starlight), and Sunlight is more comparable to Starlight, as it has more color oomph and stronger shimmer compared to Candlelight (which is particularly nice for those who like subtle to moderate highlighters). This is more of a highlighting bronzer, as it adds a lot of glow and luminosity to the skin, but it does add warmth. It is very pigmented, but the texture is soft, blendable, and forgiving, so it can easily be applied with a lighter hand for barely-there golden sheen or more intensely for true-to-pan bronzing. The consistency of the powder was smooth and finely-milled, and this didn’t emphasize my pores or skin texture. It wore well for almost nine hours on me before fading.

Happy they finally released a shade that will work on darker skintones and that it performs so well!
I love Candelight but I think I’m right on the border of where I can use it without it looking ashy – I can’t see it working on someone on the darker side of medium and above, but this should be gourgeous!
This will definitely be nice on darker skin tones!
Ohhh I saw this when I was buying my Starlight and I was hoping you would do a review! I should have known it would be another A+! The Celestial Powders are just so dreamy. I think I will be a Starlight girl for life- there is just something so pretty and unique about that color- but for those looking for more of a bronze, this is really beautiful.
It is really lovely! 🙂
way too similar to topaz. but my god would it look gorgeous on dark skin!
It is very similar!
Slight off topic, but I was totally uninterested in the Too Faced palette after reading you review, but seeing it on you from a distance, I really love the colors. LOL!
Anything can look half-decent from far away, LOL!
The glow is GORGEOUS! I have had my eyes on this for a while since it came out but of course I was waiting till you had a review up! 🙂 Looks every bit the goodness I hoped it would be!
Yay! I hope you can try it, Divya!
It’s sooo pretty. I am getting fatigued with all the new lippie releases lately; glad to see some good quality face products hitting the shelves!
There are lots of lipsticks this year!
Gorgeous color on you, Christine!
Thanks, Gabby!
Wow, it’s stunning! Love the gold shimmer. Thank goodness I have the Cover Girl dupe, or I’ll be out $44! It’s too dark for me as bronzer, but I use lightly as a blush and spot highlighter
Glad you have the CoverGirl dupe, Katherine!
Holy moly, this is splendid! Perfect for us medium and deeper skintones!
Although I will probably get this sometime down the road, it’s not an immediate “must-have”, because I’ve been getting a similar look using MAC Cheek Pollen with Shaft of Gold brushed lightly over it.
I agree! Will be lovely on darker skin tones.
Pretty but too brown for me!
Gotcha!
Oooo, this one so great. Thanks for your expert review!
No problem, Chris!
It looks very pretty on you, Christine.
Thanks, Maria!
Pulling hair out! So many amazing highlight/bronzer combos right now. I have absolutely nada comparable to this one in stash. Def can pull off this yellow undertone much better than orange.
p.s. like your eye shadow too!
Oooh, this will be nice then, if you like the yellower undertone!
That is so gorgeous?
It is!
You inspired me to rock a green shadow on the bottom of the eye this 4th of July. You look gorge as always!
Yay! Rock on with your green eyeshadow 😀
Oh I thought it was eyeshadow at first! With this much sheen I don’t think I could wear it.
Bummer!
This powder is so gorgeous, WOW!!!! I really hope KAB releases another new palette soon featuring his new colors from the Sculpting and Celestial collections!!!
Here’s hoping!
