Kevyn Aucoin Natura Pure Powder Glow ($37.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a medium brown with hints of peach and rose, along with white shimmer over a satin finish. NARS Madly is browner, darker. NARS Douceur is less warm-toned. MAC Baby Don’t Go is less warm-toned, lighter. MAC Harmony is less shimmery. Burberry Earthy is less warm-toned. See comparison swatches.

I must admit, the shimmer I saw in the pan and in the swatch had me a little worried on how it would translate to skin, but somehow, it manages to work nicely without emphasizing pores or looking sparkly or shimmery. I think a good portion of the shimmer/gets trapped in the bristles of my blush brushes, so little appears on the skin when applied. Depending on your skin tone, this could work as a blush, bronzer, highlighter, or contour powder. On my medium complexion, it’s a subtle contour or a barely-there bronzer. The texture was silky, soft, and finely-milled without being powdery, and the powder applied evenly and smoothly on the skin. It had fairly good color payoff overall but is a more buildable product than one that starts off intensely pigmented. It wore well for just over eight hours, and after nine hours, I saw some light fading along the edges.

this blush is really well done. I can see how the shimmer keeps this hue from appearing flat or muddy which this colour family can tend to look on many, myself included. I love and have almost all the shades you mentioned but it takes a careful hand, proper brush, correct base for the desired effect to work.

Thanks for reviewing this I have to add this to my kit!!

This is pretty, but I don’t think it would quite suit me. Besides, I just bought NARS Madly & Douceur (which is *perfect*!), but I think I may have to track down MAC Baby Don’t Go…

This was recommended to me by someone on this site as a dupe for a very old MAC eyeshadow/blush ( they were eyeshdows packaged in a larger pan) called “spice”. It was the perfect shade for my redhead complexion. It might have been made to go with the original Spice lip pencil, which was pretty unique when it came out, but has seemed to change colors over the years, from a pinky brown to a more reddish brown. But I digress! I still have the pan of crumbled pieces of what was left of Spice. I bought Nars Madly because I thought it was the closest match, but it just does’t do the trick. I brought my pathetic little pan to the MAC counter, and matched it to the soft brown eyeshadow, but that also does not do the trick as a blush, it has become one of my favorite eyeshadows for use in the crease, however! So I think its time for me to try Natura. I wish I knew where to buy Kevin Aucoin products around here. I loved his work when he was alive, its great to see that his company is continuing his legacy with quality products!
