Jouer Maiden Lane, Park Ave, PCH High Pigment Lip Glosses Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Maiden Lane
Jouer Maiden Lane High Pigment Lip Gloss ($17.00 for 0.21 fl. oz.) is a soft, medium brown with warm undertones and a cream finish. The pigmentation was nearly opaque, while the gloss had a smooth, creamy texture that was thin and non-sticky but spreadable and did not feel overly slippery on. There was a bit of product that settled into my deeper lip lines, though. It wore well for four hours and was lightly moisturizing.
The formula is supposed to have “full-coverage color that glides on smoothly and moisturizers the lips” with a “non-sticky” texture. The majority of the shades were semi-opaque or more pigmented with a thin, creamy texture that felt more like a hybrid between gloss and liquid lipstick than a true gloss. Despite being thinner, the gloss spread well over the lips and most shades applied evenly. There were a few shades that seemed prone to settling into my lip lines, though. They were average wearing from three to five hours with no feathering or bleeding. The formula was lightly hydrating and non-sticky with a sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Park Ave
Jouer Park Ave High Pigment Lip Gloss ($17.00 for 0.21 fl. oz.) is a medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that spread across the lips evenly, but there was a bit of color that gathered in my deeper lip lines. The texture was very thin but not clingy, creamy and comfortable to wear, and non-sticky. It lasted well for three and a half hours on me but was hydrating.

PCH
Jouer PCH High Pigment Lip Gloss ($17.00 for 0.21 fl. oz.) is soft, medium peachy-coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had good color coverage, though it was not opaque in a single layer. The consistency was lightweight, smooth, and creamy without being tacky, though there was a milky quality to the color and texture that made it prone to sitting my lip lines. It wore well for three hours and was hydrating while worn.

These have caught my attention!! I love the finish!!
Let us know if you try ’em!
I can’t get over how pretty Park Ave and PCH are! I love how they look on the lips!
Happy to hear it, Macy!
While Park Ave. and PCH aren’t exactly wowing me over, I love that Maiden Lane looks like a slightly glossier, warmer version of UD Abstract lipstick! Then again, Abstract looks very glossy for a lipstick, though. Probably the only reason I can wear it and not look dead!
Glad you have a good dupe for Maiden Lane!
Christine Happy 4th of July! I love your eye look so pretty and I like Maiden Lane such a pretty nude.
Hope you had a nice 4th, Maria!
It seems that lighter lip colors are harder to formulate, they have a tendency to slip into lip lines, but these aren’t too bad, I’ve seen much worse. Perhaps a lip liner underneath will help.
I agree – the lighter a gloss is (sometimes true with lipstick), the more prone it seems to be to streaking or settling.
All three of these are perfection with the total makeup look you have going. Bravo!
Thank you, Alecto!
I was looking at the dupes for Maiden Lane when it suddenly occurred to me that the UD color “Abstract” is likely my perfect nude. And now I can’t find it anywhere. 🙁
Oh no!! 🙁
Park Ave isn’t bad.
LOL!
