IT Cosmetics Matte Sweet Apple Vitality Cheek Flush
IT Cosmetics Matte Sweet Apple Vitality Cheek Flush ($24.00 for 0.136 oz.) is a muted, medium pink with subtle, cooler undertones and a matte finish. MAC Hipness (LE, $21.00) is lighter, warmer. NYX Dusty Rose (P, $5.00) is lighter, warmer. NARS Amour (P, $30.00) is darker, warmer. ColourPop Hysterical (LE, $8.00) is cooler. MAC P.S. I Like You (LE, $22.00) is cooler. ColourPop Early Bird (P, $8.00) is lighter, cooler. Chanel Crescendo (250) (LE, $45.00) is lighter. Tarte Irreplaceable (LE, $26.00) is warmer. Makeup Geek Love Affair (P, $9.99) is darker, brighter. NARS 413 BLKR (P, $30.00) is darker, brighter. Milani Tea Rose (08) (LE, $7.99) is warmer. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
The formula is supposed to be long-wearing and give the “glow of of a stain.” This shade is the most matte out of the four shades available in the formula, and I found the texture to be a little thinner and more prone to powderiness (at least, in the pan) as a result, though it remained blendable on the skin and applied and looked even. On me, despite it leaning cool in the pan, it ended up looking warmer and more like a pinky-coral, so those who have cooler, pinker undertones may find it stays truer-to-pan on them. It has a more “natural matte” finish, where there isn’t really shimmer or a strong sheen, but it doesn’t look totally flat like a true matte would. The color wore well for nine and a half hours before fading.

I have this in Pretty & Peony, and it is one of the longest lasting, most pigmented blushes ever, and that’s saying a lot because I have teflon cheeks that just “eats” blush. Most blushes (even the “long-wearing” ones) last only 2 hours on me unless I carefully prep my cheeks. It’s so pigmented that I do the lightest tap, and I’m good for the entire day and night. I seriously think 1 pan will last me 10-15 years.
Nice! It must be so exciting to find a formula that does last for you 🙂
I know! The other shades look a little too dark for me, but I might grab another one, maybe the mauve purple one. I’m hoping they will come out with more colors!
I really love that this shade resembles a true flushed cheek! True, I do love my less natural shades too, but this, while still bright, has that “natural-ness” to it. And it’s glowy w/o shimmer!
It really has a nice finish!
This looks beautiful on you Christine! Surprisingly I don’t usually go for pink blushes but this looks perfect
Thank you, Fancie!
I don’t go for pink blush either but this one is calling to me for some reason
You are looking lovely Christine!
I think you forgot to mention the price
Fixed!
That is a really pretty colour!
It is!
It looks beautiful on you. I love their powder formulations. The stain factor really appeals to me. I ordered the special they had on QVC recently partly because it had the new Bye Bye Pores Pressed Blush in it.
Oooh, nice 😀
Very pretty
Agreed!
This color looks lovely on your beautiful skin (hating on you right now) 😉
I have been loving it cosmetics for almost 2 years now but have not purchased any of their individual blushes, maybe I’ll get this one.
Is the compact made out of metal or plastic?
I believe it’s plastic.
This looks so fresh and pretty on you, Christine! <3
Thanks, Lotus!
Ooh, very pretty!
It is!
These are really nice blushes that are worth the price & definitely wear well, as you said. I’ve got 2 and really love them. This shade also is warm on my skin tone, despite the appearance in the pan. I hope IT comes out with more shades in this formula, especially the matte formula. The shimmery shades I find are too shimmery, although they don’t magnify pores like some of MAC’s skin finishes do.
They are definitely more forgiving than MSFs!
