I find Chanel no 5 a bit too strong, I’ve always loved Chance by Chanel.
Thanks! This is awesome! I love reading anything about Chanel! I enjoy the documentaries too. I’m sort of a Chanel expert for my family and friends.
Did you see the movies with Shirley MacLaine and Audrey Tatou? I have both on Blu Ray but haven.’t watched them yet.
yes. I saw the Lifetime one and another one that was released in the theaters. So good!
I saw the one with Audrey Tautou and liked it a lot. There’s another French film about Chanel that focuses on her affair with Stravinsky–really dreadful movie. But that’s where I first heard the story about the creation of No. 5.
I love the narrator’s voice! The way she says “decipher” in her Brit accent and the way she pronounces French names like “Catherine Deneuve” and “Audrey Tatou” is like buttah–makes me want to fake an accent. Mon Dieu!
I just got a chance to watch this and I love it. Although I am not a fan of the scent, I love the story behind it. I was told at the Henri Bendel store, that Henri liked No.7 instead of No.5.
I do love the way the Prefection Lumiere smells though!
I prefer Chanel #19….but it’s a nice video.
I think this is Lisa Eldrich’s voice, partly because I watched so many tutorial videos of hers.
