Harder than I thought!!! Ok, so if my lips stay full and young looking: MAC Maria Moretti (gorgeous red!) , but if they de-pouf: MAC Marque Ultimate Lipstick! And it gets even more difficult now that I’ve had an opportunity to try on a few Estee Lauder lippys ( the ones that DON’T smell like figs)….because they feel so nice on!
I would have to resurrect L’Oréal Tendre Mauve (the “regular”/original lipstick). In fact, it pretty much was the only lipstick I wore nearly every day for about 2 years, and was one of the few I actually finished (along with 2-3 backups…). It was the *perfect* blend of nude, pink, & mauve, with a faint hint of grey, and wasn’t too light or dark.
For something more recent, I’d have to say L’Oréal Frieda’s Nude, which is unfortunately LE…
Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro in Blush goes with any look!
Colourpop Lumiere Lippie Stix
I think it has to be Chanel’s Liberte Rouge Coco Shine! Its the best sort of peachy nude I own and because its permanent it beats my other favorites for that spot!

Have to start, again, by saying “Let’s hope it never never ever happens!” A girl SHOULD NOT be made to commit to only one lipstick, it’s too cruel 🙂 If it did, however, I”d most likely choose Japanese Maple or Hue by MAC, depending on how I feel at that exact moment 🙂
Hands down Kat Von D’s studded kiss lipstick in Lolita. It’s just the perfect rosy nude shade for my skintone and I really like how it adheres to the lips.

For me, I’d say Guerlain Garçonne – definitely not the most practical of choices, but it’s my favourite by far. I can live without MLBB shades, but I can’t do without Garçonne!
Something cheap and Ionglasting. Maybe colourpop clique or Maybelline touch of Spice.

This is a cruelly difficult question to answer, because I love brights, but those shades don’t go with everything. Plus, wearing neon pink or blinding red to a funeral isn’t very cool, even by my liberal makeup standards.
I’d probably go with UD Sheer Revolution Lipstick in Sheer Rapture. It’s pretty pigmented on my ultra-pale lips, and I would consider it a MLBB shade. There are always lip glosses, tinted balms and pencils for my color fixes. 😉

Chanel Rouge Coco Venise. If I dab it on lightly it’s the perfect nude lip for my complexion, but if I swipe it on it’s a dramatic deep red. It’s an amazingly versatile lipstick.
This is a hard question. It would be a toss up between MAC Cream in Your Coffee (the perfect nude lip for a brown girl) and MAC La Vie En Rouge (if it wasn’t limited edition, I would wear it literally everyday).
I’m so mad I missed out on La Vie en Rouge, it’s so stunning. Here’s hoping they’ll re promote someday and we can all stock up!

They really need to make La Vie En Rouge permanent. I’m kicking myself for not buying a backup. (I did get Toxic Tale and Make Me Gorgeous, which are similar at least.)

I knew you’d say Gem! My most worn lipstick is MAC Relentlessly Red, so I’d say that. It just makes me feel so pretty and confident, and if I wanted a more neutral lip for a certain look I’d just go bare-lipped.

Mac heroine would have to be my ride or die. It’s the perfect purple lip for ladies with bronzed and even deeply chocolate skin tones. The shade is permanent, price is doable, and the finish is so comfy. I will never get rid of it.

as for my answer… for a lipstick lover sticking to only one lippie would be too harsh but probably Nars Anita (im just in love with that formulation and the shade suits me really well) for practical pourposes you can’t go to a funeral rocking a purple lip either way i would gladly stick with it but i would miss a lot my Mac Heroine, Twig and Velvet Teddy… i would put more but the list would be too long (realizing now that im a lipstick addict)

Probably my day-to-day shade for the last few years, which is MAC’s Plumful. But it is so hard not to choose a bright red instead!
My choice would be Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Cinnamon Kiss. Perfect blend of red, pink, brown and plum. Goes on like silk, wears like iron, and smells like lemon candy. And, an A-plus from Temptalia!

That would be YSL rouge pur couture in shade 52. The color suits me the most and can wear everyday too. The formula is not drying but last long. 🙂

Still Lip Glaze in Brown Sugar, not really a lipstick, but everyone (including my husband and several makeup counter consultants from competing brands) compliment me on it. Just a “my lips, but better” nude on me. And long-lasting/pigmented enough to be in the lipstick “weight class”, I suppose.
Mac Kinda Sexy. There isn’t anyone I’ve ever seen NOT look good in that shade!
Covergirl Outlast, Always Rosy. It goes with everything and it lasts all day long!
Revlon. I love the colors. But the most important thing is that they are scent free. I cannot stand perfume or scents in a lipstick.

This is a really tough one! I’d say Bobbi Brown Rich lip colour in Rose Blossom – its such a flattering shade – bright but not too bright! If i could cheat then I’d sneak in MAC La Vie en Rouge! Love the shade! Its such a happy shade!

Clinique Tenderheart. Basic, but polished. It is the only lipstick for me that works day or night; casual or formal; winter, spring, summer, or fall!
My choice would definitely be the versatile Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme in Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. It’s the perfect semi matte, dusty rose that can be worn at the office and stays put all day with minimum reapplication. The color is also just vivid enough to wear out on the town in the evening! My lips are comfortable all day as this lipstick doesn’t dry out lips like a lot of mattes do, and it doesn’t settle into cracks, nor does it feather. All around a winner I will wear until it’s discontinued!
honestly i am not sure ! i am such a lip fanatic lol but this is a very interesting question :)…so only allowing one & i am really a colorful person but i would probably go with a neutral..& honestly i dont own many neutrals, so gosh i guess i would choose my mac ” i love winter ” from the iced delights but would have to find a dupe cause that was LE, wow just way too hard here , i bet i’ll think of something way better later 😛
Since it just arrived two days ago, I admit this may be a little premature. But Colourpop’s Sheer Lippie Stick in the shade “Juice Bar” is so unbelievably perfect for me, and so comfortable to wear, I could see myself happily living in it exclusively.

Probably MAC Go For It. It was limited edition (so I only have one tube left that I bought on eBay) and it’s a cremesheen finish so it has to be reapplied more often, but it’s a true cool pale-ish to midtone blue violet. I love that color; it goes great with my caramel brown skintone! 🙂

This would be a REALLY tough choice, but if I had to choose only one, I’d go with NARS Audacious lipstick in Kelly. It’s the perfect shade of reddish-pinkish-coral for me.
