If you could design your own nail polish, what color would it be?

If you could design your own nail polish, what color would it be? What kind of finish?

I think I’d probably make it a medium-dark fuchsia-pink with black and gold micro-glitter.  It’d be sexy and shimmery and smart!

as weird as it sounds, among many other colors i’d love to create.. a gray! just a plain gray with no holographic in it, and not silver. just a creme gray!

i’ve looked everywhere, and i have yet to see one!

Have you seen China Glaze Recycle or Rescue Beauty Lounge Concrete Jungle?

If I made a nail polish it would be a teal blue with royal blue star glitter or a dusty blue-grey with pink and silver microglitter.

Try Deborah Lippman’s Waking Up in Vegas, it looks like a perfect dove gray! Or Zoya just came out with a gorgeous darker gray-Christine reviewed it earlier this week!

I would want it to be something that I have never seen before. Maybe a very deep raspberry with flecks of teal, pink and orange glitter or shimmer. My fave colour palette on my nails.

i really can’t think of anything better than the taupe colour that most of us loved this year but if i would design my own colour it would be a a shiny bright pink with gold shimmer(but not too shimmery)

A taupe colour with pistachio green micro glitter. Just because I’d like to see how it would look hahaha
Otherwise, a blue grey cream, but THE perfect blue grey. With the right balance of blue and grey and not too dark nor too light.

The perfect coral-peach with a cream finish. Like a peach sorbet – not too yellow, not too pink, not too foundationey, not too fluoro.

Also, mixing reflects glitters into nail polishes is a fab way to up the glitter (but be careful! Too much glitter and it sets the lacquer into a thick gunky paste!)

I would love to have a nail polish of the exact Ford Mustang Cobra “mystichrome” formula. It’s that beautiful green/teal/blue/purple color that only came straight from the factory on a certain year. People try to recrate the look but it always comes out more pink. I would love to combine two of my favorite passions (make up && ford mustangs). So that is the color I’d love to make 🙂

a greige color with a hint of lavender
I love metro chic but I feel that it’s too dark and not enough beige or mauve colors in it

A color that was peachy like Peachy Keen from China Glaze but had a pink and gold shimmer/duo chrome to it. And then also a red that had a deep black pearl

A smooth, buttery, one-coat, shimmer/holographic multichrome that flashes every color of the rainbow. I guess the closest living-ish relative would be Clarins 230 (damn HTF discontinued sunnuva polishes), although it’s definitely not a one-coater or holographic and more purple/red than blue/green.

A purple/lavender version of Essie’s Mademoiselle. It’s one of my all time favorite colors but there doesn’t seem to be any sheer purples or lavenders out there.

I would definitely create a light pastel purple colour. Maybe have it a bit more complex and have some blue-green duochrome shimmer, too. Ouu, that’d be perfect!
