Juno

Huda Beauty Juno N.Y.M.P.H. Glaze Skin Glowing Perfector ($35.00 for 0.31 oz.) is a deep, reddish-bronze with warm undertones and lighter bronze pearl woven throughout. It had a luminous, lightly dewy sheen on skin as the formula didn’t fully dry down, so there was a touch of tackiness present during wear, but it didn’t seem to be enough to catch stray hairs and gave the skin more dewiness instead.

The texture was moderately creamy, slightly thicker though not heavy or overly dense to work with, and applied well to bare skin with fingertips. I preferred a synthetic brush for applying it on top of base products as I felt like fingertips were more prone at creating patchiness due to that bit of tackiness in the formula itself. It had medium to semi-opaque, buildable coverage but the more emollient consistency made it prone to sheering out in practice, so it really seemed as buildable as marketed. This shade wore nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.

P.S. — You can view this shade on deeper skin here.

Formula Overview

$35.00 -

The formula is supposed to work applied under or over makeup, whether as a "pre-makeup base" or as a standalone highlighter. It is described as having a "super blendable" and "buildable" formula that is long-wearing and gives a "lit-from-within-finish." It had more medium, buildable coverage, which seemed in line with the marketing, that wanted to be blended out on bare skin so building up was best when one let the initial layer dry down a little.

The texture was moderately creamy, emollient, and a touch tacky, which gave it better hold overall but made it more prone to lifting up base products when applied with fingertips. I didn't have any lifting when I used a stippling brush to apply, though. The formula lasted around eight hours on me.

Not sure that Christine mentioned it or I forgot…so I looked up the meaning of the acronym. N.Y.M.P.H. means ‘not your mama’s panty hose’ a nod to these being all over body HLs. One of those ‘am I high?’ moments.
