The mattes do not look that impressive and the colour stories are covered by my stash. Easy pass.
And most of the mattes are light. As I drew back from the display, those shades basically disappeared. Try it, everybody. Ciao, light mattes.
Abricadabra!
I already have all these colors…ahhh! That green is tempting though. :o)
So, let me see if I have this correct, we are calling the palette Khaki Haze and there is only one shade that looks like it might read Khaki on the lid? No nothing here appeals to me.
So pretty in the palettes and I wanted them all, but looking at actual swatches I am disappointed. It’s a no from me.
Having watched these being used in action, I’m definitely leaning towards Khaki and Purple Haze. Watching tutorials, one can see that the mattes are more of the buildable type, which is good in keeping with the “haze” imagery.
They remind me of the nude collection with some obsession kicks. I was eyeing with khaki for a long time, but the shades are just not what I would expect under this name. These palettes are pretty on their own, but looking at the whole collection from the brand, these new eyeshadows are the same story.
All the deepest mattes in all 3 palettes look very disappointing, patchy and not very pigmented. I was considering buying the purple palette, for the deep purple mostly, so that’s a pass.
So glad you swatched these – they really caught my eye on Sephora. Pretty palettes but not sure there isn’t much in here that I don’t already have covered in other products. Good to see them in action here though!
I am just looking at Khaki Haze – Khaki being one of my favourite colours – and wondering why on Earth is there a pink shade living in the palette. And some of the brown shades look pinky as well. No stunning golds, bronze shades that would work with the lonely one or two khaki shades. Disappointing.
I have been looking at the Khaki and Sand palettes but they look very much like some other palettes I’ve recently purchased. Actually, the reason I’m passing is the reason I was attracted to them!
The Purple Haze caught my eye but I watched Makeup Just for Fun on YouTube and Purple Haze swatches pretty closely to the other palettes mentioned in the video (Huda Beauty Nude Light and Huda Beaugy Amethyst) which I already have, so this will be a pass for me.
