Skin tone: Under my name.
Favorite look: I didn’t wear any makeup this week except for some base products to cover a little rash/blemish where my mask sits. I am taking makeup with me to Kalispell so maybe I will be inspired. Everything going on in the world today is just so overwhelming. May the Notorious RBG RIP. What a sad day it was.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I did sort of a smokey rust and violet look yesterday that I loved! Here’s the link if you want to see! https://www.instagram.com/p/CFR41juB36Y/?igshid=11c0wt5jbq9l3
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I’ve really enjoyed my single shadows lately.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: My Juvia’s Place Tribe palette came in, and hopefully my ColourPop order will come in as well!
A really beautiful look Celesta – I love that violet touch too and it seemed to complement the rusty shades well.
What a lovely color combination – love it!
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Look you loved this week?: I honestly can’t think of anything (mask wearing and almost daily gym sessions have cut into my makeup wearing activities)
Any new or old favorites discovered?: NARS Alhambra – I just got it 5 or 6 days ago and I love it so much; I also just came home with NARS Jungle 5-pan; I was so torn between it and New Look but they had more stock on New Look so I figured I could wait and check out Christine’s dupes and then go back to get it if I decided I have to have it.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Three guesses – Dior Jungle, Dior Jungle, Dior Jungle!
The Dior Jungle quint is probably my favourite as well. I did like the New Look one, but I do have quite a few dupes for the key shades too. What a treat to find a couple of products that you love.
I ordered the Denim one from Sephora with my 15% off. I really like the teals and can make do with the one iffy colour. The Bay has a 10% discount for VIPs this weekend and apparently a new one starting Monday for $20 off a $100 cosmetics/fragrance purchase.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair).
Look you loved this week?: 2 days ago, I took out some old favorites to play and came out with a gorgeous desert inspired look!
Eyes: After using some MAC Kid as a transition and to define a “crease”, I went in full ham with Chanel Empriente du Desert all over my lids! Luscious, molton metallic goodness!
Cheeks: UD Jawbone, Smashbox Rosemantic and MAC x Selena La Leyenda EDSF.
Lips: Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Blaze Of Glory.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: My long neglected Chanel Empriente du Desert quad and Smashbox Rosemantic “blush”!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Not sure what if any makeup looks I’ll be doing next week. The daily countdown to Scunci’s surgery has my anxiety through the roof and I’m just so scared of something happening to him. Last night, he sensed how tense and nervous I was as I was tossing and turning trying to fall asleep. He curled up around my head and placed one of his big fluffy paws on my head and kept it there! I melted inside. And just wanted to cry because he’s that special of a kitty.
OMG Nancy, what a wonderful, beautiful cat he is!
Genevieve, he really is one very special kitty! I’ve always had cats since I was around 4½-5. Four of them live in a part of my heart forever, he’s one of those.
He’s trying to calm you Nancy, you’re breaking my heart! What a special bond you two have!
He honestly was trying, Brendacr1. Scunci is so intuitive and dog-like in his entire demeanor, yet still very much a cat.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light with red
Look you loved this week?: I ended up pulling out my Violet Voss HG palette just to play around with makeup (I’ve had trouble with their formula in the past) but ended up being impressed by the copper and brown look I created. And it didn’t fade!
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Not really aside from giving my Violet Voss palette another chance 😛
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Maybe Juvia’s Place berry palette!
Your skin tone/coloring: above
Look you loved this week?: Good as Gone (crease) from Born to Run + Peony (lid) from Viseart Bridal Satin. Absolutely beautiful and lasts all day with a lid primer (I use Cover Fx gripping primer)
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Lancôme stick foundation….what a beautiful foundation and so easy to pack around for touch-ups. Viseart Bridal Satin Palette…I forgot how beautiful this formula is. Hope I get another shade in my project next month.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: No, just working on the products in my 2 project pan Projects.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: I used my 3 favourite shades this week: Pixi Beauty Reflex Light – the Nude Lustre gold shade all over my lid, the olive green from Chanel’s Tisse D’ Automne on the lower lid and the Auburn blaze bronze shade from PB in the crease. I paired it with my new Laura Geller Battery Park Bronze lipstick.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Wet n’ Wild Comfort Zone and neglected shades from Naked 1.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Stilla in the Garden palette.
Skintone – vampire-ish (very fair, cool toned)
Favorite look – I’ve been using powder foundation a lot since work from home started in March; MAC Studio Fix powder foundation in NW10 is my long time favorite. I’ve been loving the Dior Glow blush in Pink, Marc Jacobs Tan-tastic bronzer and either ND Super Glow in Fair or MAC Flash & Awe palette for highlighter. I’ve been playing with the ND Glam palette lately or will skip shadow and just apply black gel liner from Illamasqua. Lipstick has become a thing of the past and I’ll just use the Fresh Advanced Therapy balm or a tinted balm like the one from YSL in Rose Blazer or Clinique Almost Honey.
Your skin tone/coloring: under my name, brown hair w/highlights, hazel eyes
Look you loved this week?: I did a cat eye and I nailed it perfectly with my Smashbox Black Rosegold liquid eyeliner, then I used my new Rare Beauty Highlighter in Mesmerize over top of my BB foundation and it was perfect! Topped it off with Rare Beauty Lip Balm in Compliment.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Old – Smashbox Black Rosegold eyeliner, New – Rare Beauty Luminizer and Lip Balm.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Rare Beauty Lip Souffle in Heroic
