Hourglass I Wonder/I’ll Forever Confession Lipstick Duo ($36.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a new, limited edition set of two, full-sized lipsticks. You’ll receive one holder and two shades that can be put inside it (for photography purposes, I used a second holder to show them in holders together). Both shades were pigmented, creamy, long-wearing, and hydrating, and they performed consistently with the Confession formula based on my past experience with the range.
Hourglass’ Confession lipsticks are some of the most expensive (by the ounce) on the market, and while Hourglass is not a brand known for their value-packed holiday offerings, this duo is. Normally, a full-sized lipstick (with holder) retails for $36, while a refill-only retails for $22, so there’s a $58 value here!

I Wonder
I Wonder is a medium-dark, rosy coral with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. The lipstick had full color payoff in a single stroke, which applied fluidly across my lips without tugging or dragging. The consistency was creamy, lightweight, and smooth without being too slippery or emollient, so it adhered for longer wear (five hours) but was comfortable to wear. There was a touch of product that sank into my deeper lip lines, though I couldn’t tell in person (just in the close-up photo). The formula felt moisturizing while worn as well.

Formula Overview
$34.00/0.03 oz. - $1133.33 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "creamy, saturated, longwearing color with a satin finish." It's a light-medium thick formula that was typically opaque with a lightly creamy texture that glided on without tugging but did not slide around while worn. The majority of shades had a natural to satin finish, and they lasted anywhere from four to seven hours with light hydration. The best performing shades were light to dark while the lightest and deepest shades weren't quite as consistent.
The lipstick can be purchased with the full packaging/applicator for $34 or as a refill-only for $22. The refill packaging is substantial enough that it is usable on its own, as there's a detachable base that the refillable cap clicks onto (with an audible click), but they are very slim--and that's not a surprise given they only contain 0.03 oz. making them one of the smaller lipsticks on the market. Slim lipsticks typically contain around 0.07 oz. of product and are usually smaller than the average standard lipstick tube (which tends to be between 0.10 and 0.12 oz.).

I'll Forever
I’ll Forever is a rich, medium-dark copper with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage with a smooth, creamy texture that glided easily across my lips but adhered well without sliding around during wear. It wore well for five and a half hours and felt hydrating over time.

I’m a blessed gal, I tell you. I’ve got Bite Hot Harissa arriving tomorrow, and already have CP Faded and PMG Candy Flip!
This duo is my favorite of the two. As evidenced by the dupes already owned )or about to be) by me, I really love these sorts of shades.
I don’t like the holder aspect at all, but these lipsticks are beautiful – especially I’ll Forever.
I can’t quite comprehend it, but I have no dupes… I don’t think I’ll get these particular ones, but obviously my lippie collection has a few holes 😉

I told myself that I didn’t need this but after seeing these duos I think I might add it to my cart. These duos are looks like candy like soft and tasty just going to bite.:p
Neither of these are colours i could ever see myself wearing, and this packaging does nothing for me, so it looks like i will be passing on these this year.
I bought this set during Sephora sale, and I would say this is my best makeup purchase of the year. I am so happy with the colors especially “I Wonder”. Both colors are flattering on Asian skintones. This value set is totally worth the splurge.
