Hourglass I Dream Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a bright, medium pink coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. It was intensely pigmented and had full color coverage in a single pass. The consistency was lightweight, creamy without being too emollient or slippery, and comfortable to apply and to wear. On me, the color lasted for five hours and was hydrating.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to have "creamy, saturated, longwearing color with a satin finish." It's a light-medium thick formula that was typically opaque with a lightly creamy texture that glided on without tugging but did not slide around while worn. The majority of shades had a natural to satin finish, and they lasted anywhere from four to seven hours with light hydration. The best performing shades were light to dark while the lightest and deepest shades weren't quite as consistent.
The lipstick can be purchased with the full packaging/applicator for $34 or as a refill-only for $22. The refill packaging is substantial enough that it is usable on its own, as there's a detachable base that the refillable cap clicks onto (with an audible click), but they are very slim--and that's not a surprise given they only contain 0.03 oz. making them one of the smaller lipsticks on the market. Slim lipsticks typically contain around 0.07 oz. of product and are usually smaller than the average standard lipstick tube (which tends to be between 0.10 and 0.12 oz.).

Hourglass I Love Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. These types of pinks always look “blue” to me when I wear them, though they appear warmer swatched and in the tube. The texture was slightly thinner than most in the range, and as a result, the coverage was semi-opaque and less forgiving–the thinner consistency settled into my lip lines over the four hours it lasted for. The formula was hydrating, though.

I like these colors but I don’t wanna pay the 7.99 shipping on the Hourglass website..these lippies are pricey enough as it is lol…wish they sold these colors at Nordies.
I have Pink Nouveau -somewhere- lol..and have used up that color quite a bit. I know I would like these colors..just so darn pricey.
Meh, I got a little excited seeing an exclusive refillable lipstick set for $54 on the site with three colors..but they are newer colors and can’t choose which ones are in the set. And the colors in the set don’t get my attention. oh well. Is that a fancy cigarette case? No..it’s my luxury lipstick case:D.

I definitely understand what you’re saying about these types of pinks like I Love going blue-toned on you! They do the same thing on me, but then they can sometimes make me look greenish…?

Both of these are too light for me, I like darker pinks. Lipsticks that are lighter than my natural lips makes my skin look sickly. Maybe it sounds strange, but nevertheless it’s a fact.
On others I love colours like these, though.

Weird, I Love looks like a neutral to cool pink… must be your lip colour. I wish this one scored a little stronger for the price point because it certainly would be a fitting pick for me from this formula given I don’t own a single dupe.

I Dream is the one I’m going to buy!!That is the type of shade I love.I can never have enough of those pink coral shades?I have been watching your reviews of all the shades of these and trying to narrow down which shade I wanted to buy.I almost bought one of the nude shades right when my Sephora put them on display but I couldn’t decide which nude I wanted.Im trying to limit my lip product purchases so I can use some of what I already have so I am making myself choose 1 at first to try to see if I like the formula.This is not an easy task for me,lol!!!!As soon as I saw it on your lips I knew it was the one.Im going to probably pick it up on Saturday at the Rouge event.
