Here I thought that line was dead! I’ve been underwhelmed with their quality in the past, so this is probably a skip for me.
What an expensive mirror!!!! ! (at least imo)
Considering it not using swarovski crystals this time I wonder how much markup there is on it?!?
As much as I love Hello Kitty, I think I’ll skip.
Are they high? How much of a Hello Kitty fan do you have to be to blow $200 on a rhinestone mirror? I can think of WAY better ways to spend that money. Like, perhaps, MAKE UP?!
The eyeshadow palette packaging is SO CUTE
$195 for a mirror!!! Are you freaking serious?!?! They better be Swarovski crystals if it costs that much! (Not that I’d buy such an expensive mirror anyones….unless it was encrusted in diamonds. That would be badass.) I really wanted that compact mirror until I saw the price though -________-
I couldn’t resist the “An Apple a Day” balm trio. I would also love to have the bejeweled little compact mirror, but can’t justify the cost right now. Hello Kitty just makes me smile and reminds me to let my inner little girl come out to play.
The handheld mirror is to die for!! But the price? No bueno!
Hi, Christine– I found another website with a big chunk of your content that I’m assuming you did NOT authorize: [link redacted]
Please let me know if it’s not helpful to be told when my search for swatches (besides yours) leads me to find these sites, and I won’t let you know anymore!
Thank you! I appreciate you letting me know 🙂
Nice, if you’re into Hello Kitty. I’m not. Those apple-shaped lip balms are really cute, though!
Am I the only one who think this thing needs a total rebranding? The pricing is obviously for adults, but the way they pack the whole thing, eg, the fake crystals wrapping around mirrors, is totally outdated, so Kim Kardashin, and really gets cheap very quickly. Look at what Shu Uemura did with Karl Lagerfeld. The core character is still a cat, but it looks definitely haute couture and wearable, meaning it might worth the price! Excuse me for the ranting if you are Hello Kitty fan, but I’m feeling bad for such a successful character can’t go far in the cosmetic industry.
Oh that hand held mirror looks so lovely, but its price just turned me off instantly!
Very cute Hello Kitty items, but I’m not obsessed with the brand.
So not for me!
I’m a big fan of the perfume and bought plenty of backups when it went on sale, but I think I might skip it this time. That much just for a rollerball and no larger bottle? What a tease.
Cuuuute lip balms!
Love the mirror but wouldn’t spend that much on it. I can find Hello Kitty stuff (knock off, probably) at a lot of the dollar/junk stores in the malls.
CUTENESS OVERLOAD! omigod!
I love Hello Kitty so seeing all of these items made me so happy!
My wife’s is surely going to be happy with this one, but it is too pricey. I still need to think about this one.
I don’t get why these are released every year. They always end up in the sale section and the quality is mixed. Not to mention that mirror is ridiculous.
I’m a huge hello kitty fan but this collection looks CHEAP.
I really wanted that compact mirror, but HECK NO on that price.
Also for anyone interested in the apple lip balms–idk if the formula changed since then, but when the line first launched I bought an apple lip balm and while adorable and nicely scented, it was really thick in texture and pretty sticky. So heads up, you might want to try before you buy 😛
I wish the cocktail ring was the compact mirror! I like the polished metal with just the red gems at the bow rather then the all-over crystal look…
Kawaiii!!! Sooo in love *__________*
I am a huge hello kitty fan and I did get the palette but it will be the only thing I will be picking up. I think the hand held mirror is way over priced even with the crystals. I think past hello kitty x sephora collections appealed more to me.
Okay, so it seems way overpriced to me, and I’m most definitely not a Hello Kitty fan, (think I’m too old and missed the bandwagon)…. But, with that said, I really love the little compact, actually I love several items in this collection. I can’t see myself purchasing anything from this line, but it is pretty adorable.
Will you be reviewing the large eyeshadow palette? I hope so ^_^
I’ve never even seen a Hello Kitty line before. Lots of cute stuff, but I don’t think I’ll try to find anything from the line. There’s one eyeshadow in the palette I really like bottom row, second from the right. I also sort of like the nail art stuff.
I bought the hello kitty ruby rollerball at sephora.com because it was half price. I love it. Now there out of stock 🙁 . I like it enuff that I wouldn’t mind paying the original price of $20.
