Formula Overview
$49.00/0.19 oz. - $257.89 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "buildable, long-lasting color," which was somewhat true. I'd argue that they were pigmented enough that using a light-to-moderate hand was key to getting more buildable color application, but they were very blendable and more forgiving if one went overboard with the initial application of product.
The blushes had a smooth, silky texture that was thin without being clingy, so the powder picked up evenly with a brush and deposited for even, blended color with little effort. They wore around eight hours on average.

This shade looks so awful on the arm, but on your cheek it looks phenomenal! How interesting that a color can look like a brown poo smear on the arm and like the most delicious blush on the cheek. I’ll have to pick this up, it’s beautiful.
Love it. But my very first thought was how much this looks just like MAC Blushbaby, which is considerably less expensive! This October I’m so getting Blushbaby!
I think you are right! I have Blushbaby, I think it is wonderful for olive undertones.
I love how this shade looks. What a flattering, goes-with-almost-anything shade.
This is beautiful. I love “muted rosy brown” blush. I’m tempted…
Another great one from Gucci – these blushes are just so good.
I remember the original Gucci blushers and loved them. Now we have a Gucci counter opening in my Frasers store, so really pleased you are reviewing Christine before I hit the counter. Love the look of this blush.
In love with this blush and wearing it pretty much every day since I purchased. I find this blush to run cooler on application. Between this and PMG fleurtatious, these are easily my two favourite blushes on the planet and both have the perfect level of sheerness and blend-ability to be effortless.
Bought this as soon as it dropped! I love it so much and I use it on my eyes too!
Thank you for this post!
When I swatch it on my arm and use it on my cheeks and eyes, it looks just like Estee Lauder Alluring Rose Pure Color Envy Sculpting Blush. I have olive skintone but I don’t really like using pinks or corals on me personally. I prefer pink/nude shades because I apply blush where I turn red from working out and I like the flush I have, so I try to find shades similar to it. It’s been kind of hard but so far the Estee Lauder one and this Gucci one is perfect!
I’m really leaning more towards the Gucci one because it’s not as bright as the Estee Lauder one.
