Givenchy In Vogue Orange Le Prisme Blush ($44.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a brightened pop of tangerine orange with a soft, barely-there satin finish. MAC Honey Jasmine (LE, $21.00) is similar. NARS Puerto Vallarta (LE, $39.00) has a golden sheen and is a cream product. NARS Gina (P, $29.00) is more muted, slightly browner. MAC Warmth of Coral (LE, $25.00) is more shimmery. MAC Blazing Haute (LE, $25.00) is yellower. Inglot #45 Face Blush (P, $10.00) is brighter, darker. See comparison swatches.

The Le Prisme formula is supposed to have “a higher pigment concentration [so that] the color on the cheeks is immediate.” It contains four shades, and “the upper right shade for the blush is the reference shade for the final result when mixing together.” The compact itself is small–the right size for a blush brush but not much larger–so if you wanted to use the shades individually on the cheeks, it’s not practical. You can certainly concentrate the brush on two or three of the shades, though. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and smooth, and when applied to the skin, it sat beautifully and gave skin a soft, luminous glow and warmth. It had good pigmentation, though it was more buildable than it was pigment-packed. It wore well for eight hours before it showed signs of fading.

Whoa, that finished look is amazing! What did you use on your eyes and lips? I’m guessing it’s that #2 Cle de Peau gloss layered over something? Anyways it’s stunning!

I’m always a bit surprised at how flattering orange blushes are. They look positively clownish in pan and swatches yet Nars luster and Chanel presage look good on me and this is positively lovely on you!

Ohhh, pretty! I love coral blush, especially in summer, but I may just continue the trend through winter to give me a sunny glow. Great color!

I have it in Vintage Rose: soft, warm peachy-pink. I love the formula as it’s soft, blendable and buildable ! The packaging is lovely; it’s compact and and portable. Also, the mini brush that comes with it is nice for a little touching up.

Thank you for sharing 🙂

This is one of my HG’s. I bought this about two years ago and still absolutely love it. It’s so beautiful on and I like the fact that its buildable. Gorgeous blush!!
