Givenchy In Vogue Orange Le Prisme Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Givenchy In Vogue Orange Le Prisme Blush
Givenchy In Vogue Orange Le Prisme Blush ($44.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a brightened pop of tangerine orange with a soft, barely-there satin finish. MAC Honey Jasmine (LE, $21.00) is similar. NARS Puerto Vallarta (LE, $39.00) has a golden sheen and is a cream product. NARS Gina (P, $29.00) is more muted, slightly browner. MAC Warmth of Coral (LE, $25.00) is more shimmery. MAC Blazing Haute (LE, $25.00) is yellower. Inglot #45 Face Blush (P, $10.00) is brighter, darker. See comparison swatches.
The Le Prisme formula is supposed to have “a higher pigment concentration [so that] the color on the cheeks is immediate.” It contains four shades, and “the upper right shade for the blush is the reference shade for the final result when mixing together.” The compact itself is small–the right size for a blush brush but not much larger–so if you wanted to use the shades individually on the cheeks, it’s not practical. You can certainly concentrate the brush on two or three of the shades, though. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and smooth, and when applied to the skin, it sat beautifully and gave skin a soft, luminous glow and warmth. It had good pigmentation, though it was more buildable than it was pigment-packed. It wore well for eight hours before it showed signs of fading.

Whoa, that finished look is amazing! What did you use on your eyes and lips? I’m guessing it’s that #2 Cle de Peau gloss layered over something? Anyways it’s stunning!
Hi Sunny,

It’s probably one of the few lipsticks I have that actually looks like I’ve made a dent in it!

I’m always a bit surprised at how flattering orange blushes are. They look positively clownish in pan and swatches yet Nars luster and Chanel presage look good on me and this is positively lovely on you!
The color looks lovely! And love the colors you’ve used in your makeup! 🙂
Thanks, Deepika!
GORGEOUS! I’ve always loved oranges blushes, I feel like they often look really natural on, even though they can look intimidating in the pan. Especially on medium and darker skin tones
Ohhh, pretty! I love coral blush, especially in summer, but I may just continue the trend through winter to give me a sunny glow. Great color!
I love orange blushes and this is just beautiful!!

Thanks a lot, Rikki! <3
I have it in Vintage Rose: soft, warm peachy-pink. I love the formula as it’s soft, blendable and buildable ! The packaging is lovely; it’s compact and and portable. Also, the mini brush that comes with it is nice for a little touching up.
Thank you for sharing 🙂
Awesome to hear that Vintage Rose is just as nice!
This blush is gorgeous on you, Christine.
Thanks so much, Patsyann!!
