Giorgio Armani No. 07 Fluid Sheer Review, Photos, Swatches
Giorgio Armani No. 07 Fluid Sheer
Giorgio Armani No. 07 Fluid Sheer ($62.00 for 1.0 fl. oz.) is an iridescent, pink-tinged white with lighter pink and violet iridescent pearl. The shimmer in this liquid highlighter is quite fine, which makes it more readily used as a multi-tasking product that can be mixed in with other base products, applied alone, or over foundation. I felt like the finish on this was subtler than a lot of the Fluid Sheers, so it’ll be a good option for someone who likes a dewy but less shimmery effect. I suspect it will also read cooler-toned on those with neutral or cool undertones, but if you are warmer-toned like me, don’t fear that this will look too stark on! The iridescent sheen on this makes it really good for layering over blush, too. The texture was lightweight, blendable, and thin with sheer coverage that lasted for eight and a half hours on me. L’Oreal Ice (P, $12.99) is more shimmery. NARS Craving (Left) (P, ) is less shimmery. Giorgio Armani No. 08 (P, $62.00) is more shimmery, darker, warmer. ColourPop Monster (P, $8.00) is less shimmery, darker. ColourPop Hippo (P, $8.00) is less shimmery, more pigmented. NYX Ice Queen (P, $5.00) is more shimmery, cooler. L’Oreal Ice (P, $12.99) is more shimmery, cooler. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
FORMULA SUMMARY | Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer ($62.00 for 1.0 fl. oz.) is available in fifteen shades that range from sheer beige to sheer yellow to sheer copper. The formula is supposed to “dress skin in an illuminating veil of radiance.” It’s designed to be sheer, though some shades are more buildable than others, and in general, the darker hued shades are going to appear more pigmented and can be used as highlighting blushes or even as blushes (depending on your skin tone) — the brand actually calls out it can be used as “an eyeshadow base, blush, or bronzer” as well as your typical highlighter. It can be used alone, mixed with base products (like foundation, primer, or moisturizing). Some shades are glittery, others are shimmery, and others have very fine shimmer. Alone, I tend to get seven to eight hours of wear with lighter, shimmery shades and closer to ten hours or longer with some of the bolder shades, and it doesn’t seem to impact the wear of my base products (either shortening or lengthening the wear). I like fingertips or a duo-fiber/stippling brush for application using a patting and dabbing motion rather than a lot of sweeping, then a light buffing to diffuse and blend out the edges.

Just letting you know you’ve got pictures of the swatches for 03, not 07. Looks lovely though!
Fixed! Thank you!
Can I have your skin please? What do you want in return? I’ll do anything.
Aww <3
I think the wrong set of photo’s were plugged in. 😉 But the shade in the gallery is really nice!
Fixed, thank you!
This might be too subtle for some people, but I like that
Very true!
I like subtle myself. But $66 dollars worth…… >_< Plus liquid products just have a a shorter shelf life which is why I like powder ones more.
I’m with you on that one! It’s too hard to finish up a bottle before it goes bad, and for $62, I want to use up every last drop. It would be nice if they came with a smaller bottle at lower price. Or even a set of mini travel sizes, like what Becca did. I bought the Becca mini set for $25, so I could try different ones before buying the full size.
This is my favorite fluid sheer so far – so pretty! I am curious that GA says these can be used as an eye base – have you ever tried that?
I have! The ones with finer shimmer work best, while the ones with chunkier sparkle tend to be harder to apply over, I think.
I think this will be a good match for my skin tone, thanks for the review!
No prob, Kate!
I think this would be a great pink for fair skin people or if you can afford a bunch, I think I prefer I warmer toned one for myself though.
Totally understand!
Wow!! I like this!! Not too evident but a subtle shimmer 🙂
Exactly!
Christine, your link in bold pink says 03 instead of 07
Fixed!
Christina, I have never commented on here before. But I finally was able to register successfully! It was tricky. I’m a huge fan of your site and check in regularly. Today I have two questions on two different items you reviewed today. On this fluid sheer, how would you compare this color to the cle de peau luminzer in delicate pink? I have been debating on getting cdp 11 or 14 but maybe this could be an alternative to 14? Which do you prefer?
I think this is less shimmery with more of a dewy finish! I think if you want something you can mix in with foundation or wear alone, this would be better, but if you just want to dust over specific areas, Cle de Peau.
I like this one! perfect for pale people!
Woohoo!
Wow, this is beyond gorgeous. It would look spectacular on fair skin. Too expensive for me, though, since I hardly use liquid highlighters.
All the more reason why they need to offer them in smaller sizes!
This is so gorgeous on your already gorgeous skin ….
I have no 7 n 12 n noe eagerly waiting for a round up post and special recommendation ..
my heart again skipped a beat seeing a highlighter 🙂
Yayyy! 😀
Thanks for posting these reviews! I only have one shade, but really like it and am looking into getting a few more. When you’re done with these, will you please do one of those comprehensive round-up posts? I find those super helpful! Thanks for all the hard work you do!
I hope to!
I like this one best so far of the ones you’ve swatched recently. Some things I do like to be subtle! 😀
Yay! 😀
Very pretty!! Like others have said, it would be great if there were minis for a lower price… I have some 1oz foundations that I have a hard time getting through – this type of product would last much longer than the shelf life, I’d be garanteed to waste half of it because it’s too much product!
I think this will take a near lifetime, LOL!
This is one of my most favorite sheer tints since MAC’s Hyperreal liquid! It blends into my foundation so easily and really brightens up my white NEUTRAL complexion! It helps me wear even the very most of cool toned products and look good in them! All of us neutral skins are lucky because we can wear ANY color! We go both ways, but I like to go fully cooler esp in the summer and winter and I highly recommend this! I do work for Armani so I can vouch its multipurpose formula being worth it! Such a staple for me!
What other Fluid Sheers do you like for mixing with foundations?
