Giorgio Armani Neo Nude Melting Color Balm ($38.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a newly-released, cream-to-powder blush formula that is supposed to offer buildable color that can be used on cheeks (as well as eyes). The brand says there are nine shades, but there were only seven available on their website, so here are swatches of those seven I purchased!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

How weird that they claim 9 shades, yet only 7 being sold! This may explain the very peculiar jump from the very warm Brick Red to the Cool Mauve? Perhaps 2 in-between tones are sold out? Strange… šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

I think I was on Sephora a few days ago and saw they had nine listed… all sold out, so maybe Giorgio Armani just took them off the site when they were REALLY sold through, lol!

Yes, there seems to be a bit of gap in shades, but probably they have all sold out. The swatches look pretty good for the remaining seven shades and there are certainly a wide range of shades to choose from.

These are getting great reviews and I want to try one but the colors are just not appealing. They’re all very brown and wouldn’t look good on my very fair, cool toned skin at all. The cool mauve shade may work but I’m not interested in the formula enough to buy a shade that’s just ok. I don’t understand the color choices at all; where are the cool pinks, peaches or rosey colors?
