Fyrinnae Pressed Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches (Part 3)
Reindeer Fur
Fyrinnae Reindeer Fur Pressed Eyeshadow ($7.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a light-medium taupe with neutral-to-cool undertones and a metallic sheen. It was intensely pigmented with a smooth, soft, and blendable consistency that was a smidgen powdery in the pan. The eyeshadow applied evenly to bare skin and looked seamless with the smooth, shiny finish. It wore well for eight hours on me before showing signs of fading.

Seattle Fog
Fyrinnae Seattle Fog Pressed Eyeshadow ($7.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a bright, light-medium lavender with strong, cool blue undertones and a pearly sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation its own, and I found that it didn’t play as well over Pixie Epoxy (almost too powdery). The consistency was soft, a smidgen powdery in the pan, but I had no trouble applying it or blending it out on my lid. It lasted nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.

Styracosaurus
Fyrinnae Styracosaurus Pressed Eyeshadow ($7.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a bright, grass green with subtle, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff in one layer, which was buildable to full coverage with two layers or if applied with fingertips/wet brush. It was more opaque and had a more reflective finish when applied over Pixie Epoxy. The consistency was soft, slightly drier, and had moderate fallout during application. This shade stayed on well for eight hours but had light fallout over time.

Tardigrade
Fyrinnae Tardigrade Arcane Magic Pressed Eyeshadow ($8.50 for 0.07 oz.) is a deep gold with warm, olive undertones and a metallic finish. The eyeshadow had rich pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly to bare skin. There was no performance gain for using it wet or over Pixie Epoxy. The texture was smooth to the touch, lightly creamy but not too densely packed in the pan, and blendable. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading a bit.

The Alchemist
Fyrinnae The Alchemist Arcane Magic Pressed Eyeshadow ($8.50 for 0.07 oz.) is a deep, bluish-teal over a reddish-plum base paired with a lightly metallic finish. It had opaque pigmentation applied dry as well as over Pixie Epoxy, though the latter application was more shimmery and appeared brighter. The consistency was soft, lightly powdery, which resulted in a little bit of fallout during application. The color lasted well for eight hours on me before fading visibly.

Winter Sunrise
Fyrinnae Winter Sunrise Exquisites Pressed Eyeshadow ($14.50 for 0.07 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy-orange base that seemed to have a shift from warmer to cooler pink paired with a pearly sheen. It had a more reflective finish, but it didn’t seem metallic as it was smoother and a bit less shiny. It had good pigmentation in a single layer, though it needed to be built up for full coverage. It was opaque when applied over Pixie Epoxy. The consistency was soft, a little powdery but blendable and easy to work with. This shade stayed on nicely for eight hours on me before fading noticeably.

Just love the Fyrinnae names. dinosaurs to look up, tardigrade, lots of obscure, non-raunchy stuff that you can learn about. If I bought because cats for a singles stack gift, does it still have to count as ‘no new brands?’ Reindeer Fur is cozy, all the way around.
Dang! But this set is really good! Must have Reindeer Fur, Seattle Fog and the indestructible Tardigrade, because yeah, they pretty much are!
Lucky to have some great dupes for Styracasaurus and The Alchemist. Winter Sunrise, too.
My GOODNESS, these are gorgeous, but Reindeer Fur, Seattle Fog and Tardigrade are incredible. Winter Sunrise is really pretty too.. But I think I’m longing for Reindeer Fur the most. She does eyeshadow so well..beautiful
These are such beautiful shades, especially Reindeer Fur, Tardigrade and The Alchemist. All eye safe too and at such a reasonable price too. The brand is kicking goals at the moment.
Your eye looks are simply stunning, showing how the shades can be paired to create beautiful looks.
Thank you, Genevieve!
I don’t know why, but shades like Winter Sunrise get me every time. I may have to purchase that one. I made a purchase a couple of weeks ago and am currently wearing the Exquisites Edge of Space eyeshadow. It is just stunning.
It is quite versatile, IMO! Very nice sheen and shift.
I might as well send my pay check directly to Fyrinnae this month 🙂 I like all the shades in this post.
Must haves are all but Winter Sunrise and The Alchemist, though I like them as well. I love Tardigrade, I also really like the tiny little critter it’s named after, so cute. I must look up how the dinosaur looked, that green is amazing.
Thank you so much for reviewing these e/s!
Whoo! Those are some nice shades! I’m loving Reindeer Fur and Tardigrade. I had to look up the latter because I have never heard of that word before. Who would have thought to name an eyeshadow after that? LOL!
Tardigrade — so fascinating!! I learned something new today.
Reindeer Fur and The Alchemist are utter deliciousness!
I have Alchemist and want to get more from Arcane magic line. Alchemist is actually changing color from purple to teal. I only noticed when putting my face closed to the mirror’s light while applying it. I was surprised it applied like purple.
