Fyrinnae Nordic Angel Powder Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Fyrinnae Nordic Angel Powder Blush
Fyrinnae Nordic Angel Powder Blush ($6.50 for 0.21 oz./6 grams) is described as a “vibrant pinky-peach blush.” It’s a warm-toned, pink-tinged peach with a barely-there satin finish. Charlotte Tilbury Ecstasy (P) is more shimmery. Tarte Darling (LE) is less pink. MAC Lured to Love (LE, $25.00) is lighter, pinker. Illamasqua Sleek (P, $26.00) is darker, a cream product. MAC Passion for Colour (LE, $21.00) is similar. Edward Bess Secret Affair (P, $43.00) is slightly pinker. Dior Pink Glow Blush (LE) is darker. See comparison swatches.
You may have seen this when I reviewed Winter Romance yesterday, and since so many of you asked about it, I tested it straight away. It’s a new shade for their winter collection, and it’s available in full-size or sample size ($1.75), and I bought just the sample size, which should yield plenty of uses. Also, worth noting, it is listed as lip-safe but not eye-safe. The finish is incredibly well-done; it’s almost matte but has just enough luminosity that it looks like the skin’s natural dewiness when applied. The more you buff and blend the blush into the skin, the more it comes out. It’s quite pigmented, and I preferred to lightly tap out some of the loose blush color into the lid, and then pick up the color with my brush from there. The texture is soft, finely-milled, and easy to blend on the skin. It wore well for almost eight hours on me.

Oh wow that’s a good sample size! thank you for reviewing this! i will be getting this, the lip lustre and the shadows!
It’s definitely a good size – plenty of uses! And if you don’t finish, no need to feel bad.
Ooooh, just when I thought I didn’t need or want any more blush… 🙂 What a pretty and unique shade this is!
Probably don’t need more blush… but want? Always!!
Goooorgeous! And at that price?! Oh man, yes please!
Hard to resist at that price!
I love colors like this and I love that it has a barely there satin finish. Gorgeous!
The finish is amazing!
Looks so fresh on you
Thank ya!
The color looks amazing!!
It’s so versatile!
Pretty blush and it looks great on you =)
Thanks a lot, Chantel! 🙂
It’s gorgeous on you! I’m semi-tempted to add it to my next Fyrinnae order, but loose blush is such a pain – it seems like way more trouble than loose eyeshadow to me.
I don’t use loose blush often, but it’s surprisingly easier than eyeshadow, IMO, because fall out is less of an issue!
This looks nice, but I’m more curious about Seduce – the lilac shade. It’s one of the older shades but it looks interesting.
I don’t have that shade, unfortunately!
This is such a lovely color! It’s about time for me to try Fyrinnae.
I hope you get a chance to try 🙂
I’m super happy I ordered this now! I loved how it looked in the photos yesterday from the lip lustre review (ordered that too!). I also picked up sample sizes of one eyeshadow color and 2 sample tubes of Pixie Epoxy. I wanted to try a bit of everything, although I suspect I’ll be going back for more once I try it out. I love finding new brands.
Let me know how you like your goodies, Sara!
Love this! This looks like a pretty versatile shade.
I agree!
Ahhhh you are tempting me so much Christine! I’m supposed to stay away from all things coral and try new colors, but this shade is too pretty to pass up!
At least it doesn’t break the bank 🙂
Oh, that’s gorgeous! I love Fyrinnae’s products and I really should try more of their blushes. I’m just wary of my own clumsiness combined with the loose texture, I guess. ^^;
I hear ya! I find loose blushes easier to deal with than loose eyeshadows, which surprised me!
I guess it’s because most of my lost eyeshadows are in baggies (space issues), which can be a pain but not very messy if I just dip my eyeshadow brush inside. Blushes, on the other hand, is less practical in baggie form, since blush brushes tend to be much bigger than eyeshadow brushes, so they’re harder to dip into baggies.
That makes sense! I don’t think I have any in bags – just loose in jars!
I think the moment I move and finally get to all my make-up I may decant all my loose eyeshadows into baggies, lol. I’m so used to it (and it saves a ridiculous amount of space — Who doesn’t like the idea of toting 100 different eyeshadows in a business card organizer?).
Very pretty! This company can do no wrong! Fyriannae makes beautiful colored shadows and blushes. Hope they start selling in stores soon.
We can only wish!
Yay! This color is gooooorgeous and really looks fabulous on you! I assume you are not wearing a highlighter with it – but it looks like you are. I love blushes like that. I am so glad I threw it on my order! I can’t wait to get my winter 2013 stuff!
Just the blush! 🙂
Enjoy!!
Gorgeous! I’m really glad you reviewed it, I didn’t even know about the Winter 2013 collection so I was surprised when you reviewed the Lip Lustre the other day. Definitely try out Enchant if you like this one, it’s one of my favorite blushes of all time and it’s so pretty.
Thanks for the suggestion! 😀
