Yesterday I finally found the new LE Wet n Wild palettes, yay! I also bought some nail polish.
Not much going on this weekend, it’s going to be pretty low-key.

Weekend Plans: I’m ridiculously sick today, so probably try to sneak into the office at some point to get some work done. My boyfriend is working on Base all weekend so I’m on puppy dity. I’m currently watching her trying to bury her bone in the couch…with my blanket.
What accessories do you currently have on?: ALl i’m wearing is the diamond necklace my boyfriend gave me last christmas. I wear it everyday 🙂

I just picked up New Lover as a 100 point perk from Sephora. It’s not only a great shade, but I’ve found it to be surprisingly long-lasting, too.

Mirian, I may get the same phone. It’s between that or the new HTC One X. You’ll have to let me know how you like your Galaxy S3 once you play around with it and find out all it’s quirks. 🙂
well i love the new phone. i can’t say much about it compared to other phones because my last one was DUCT TAPED soooo yeah. it was time for a MAJOR overhaul. I definitely recommend it! it’s so fun and interactive!

I also picked up the Brightening Treatment Pads by them. I get excited for some reason trying out skincare products. I’ve been really into my skin care regiment and alwayst trying to find that perfect combo. I have my summer routine down, this fall transtion weather really does a number on my skin 🙁
■Weekend plans: Celebrating one of my friend’s 30th bday! I’m so excited for a girls weekend!
■What accessories do you have on right now?: A rose gold watch, diamond studs, and a Pinky Promise bracelet by Heather Lindsey.

Haul: Max Factor’s Facefinity foundation, Bourjois 1-2-3 Perfect Foundation, a bourjois mascara and khol stick, and a patchouli bath set by Kneipp.
Weekend plans: Hosting a make-up workshop tomorrow, and on Sunday it’s the elections so I have to go vote (yes, we hàve to here :-)).
What accessories do you have on right now?: A vintage necklace that used to belong to my grandmother, a set of silver & black flower earrings and two silver rings.

Weekend plans: Writing, laundry and cooking!
Accessories: I’m terrible at remembering accessories, other than the rings I wear almost all the time. I do have on a ruffly purple plaid scarf today, though and a few other plaid accents. I guess that counts!

Weekend plans: I am doing makeup at a photo shoot on Saturday, and when I’m not doing that I am catching up on the massive amounts of reading I have to do for anthro class. Right now we’re focusing on “Castes of Mind” by Nicholas Dirks.
What accessories do you have on now?: I’m home all day, so no accessories. 🙂
I find when I’m home I don’t wear a lot of accessories either!
Haul: My friend was nice enough to find the last of the Tarina Tarantino items in store at the Newmarket location (because all the Toronto stores are thoroughly picked over!!!). She piked up for me Spark of Envy Hyperliner and Delightful Jewel Eyeshadow Palette. The two I really wanted Wonderful and Dreamy where sold out of course.
Weekend plans: Last minute thrown together bridal shower. :S

Acronym Police: GTA = Greater Toronto Area.. I think most Americans may be more inclined to translate GTA as Grand Theft Auto.

Weekend Plans: Resist last days of Urban Decay sale (I keep going to the website to look longingly at the lip junkies and underground eye shadow.) Then go to a pumpkin festival. 😀
What accessories do you have on right now?: I am accessory free like I am most days. I wear light purple glasses with a detailed design everyday to see so I don’t feel like much else is needed.

Weekend Plans: Being sad panda because I don’t have tickets to the concert I wanted to go to… couldn’t afford them went they went on sale a the beginning of the summer. boo. Also cooking bacon.
What accessories do you have on right now? The same steel omega earrings I wear pretty much every day because I’m lazy LOL

Haul: Tarina Tarantino Emerald pretty palette and Neapolitan lane blush, I also almost bought the Laura Mercier cream sculpting palette, I don’t remember the exact name, but I got buyers remorse before I even bought it.
Weekend plans: Seems like I’m always going on trips haha, but this time I’m actually going to Vegas for my friends 21st birthday! Hooray!
What accessories do you have on right now?: just a gold headband from sephora, it’s rainy in SD so I didn’t even want to do anything with my hair, headband to the rescue 🙂

Haul: Urban Decay Vice & Smoked palettes, L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadows in Eternal Sunshine & Smoldering Plum (*exact* dupe for Burning Black, but I love the shade so much, I don’t mind having aa backup), 2 Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicures in Midnight in NY & Black Platinum (I think Walgreen’s is clearing out the line, as they were only $2.29 each on clearance).
Plans: Playing with my new goodies!
Accessories: My The Nightmare Before Christmas slippers; it’s Laundry Day, so I’m staying comfy while I sort out clothes.
What do the slippers look like?
Jack is on the left, Sally on the right; they have have pretty big “platforms”, and on them is the title, a gate with skulls impaled on the posts, and a couple of purple bats. They’re also lined with purple satin. I bought them at Hot Topic about 7 years ago, but I never wore them. They’ve been packed away all this time, and I forgot about them until I moved.
By the way, thanks for the review & swatches of Eternal Sunshine. It seemed much more “yellow” in tyhe pot, so I kept passing on it. Between your review, and the fact Walgreen’s was having a BOGO 50%, I decided to take a chance. I have a feeling it’ll be in regular rotation for a while!
Oh, I forgot to add I’m also wearing my belly ring (silver hoop & clear bead), and silver barbell in tongue with a rhinestone. I’ve been wearing these daily for several years, and I don’t take them out, so I forget they’re considered “accessories”.

I thought Smoldering Plum and Burning Black were the same product but it’s just called Burning Black outside of the US..?

@ sarah Yes, they *are* the same product, as it turns out. Before buying Smoldering Plum, I wasn’t 100% sure they were *exactly* the same, which they are, but since they were on sale, and it’s a shade I’ll get a *lot* of use from, it was worth picking it up. The really funny part is, not even a week after I broke down and got BB on ebay (from the UK), PP was released here. In fact, it was literally in the mail.

I was lucky to find it still in stock at Blue Mercury), Skyn Iceland Icelandic Relief eye pen, Skyn Iceland Glacial Face Wash, Thayer’s Lavender witch hazel toner, Murad Post-Acne Spot Treatment, sweet almond oil (I use for hair and body) Urban Decay Lip Envy in Greedy, and 5 bottles of lotion from Bath & Body Works – Brown Sugar & Fig and Winter Candy Apple. Also a shea butter hand cream.
Weekend plans: work, put away my summer clothes and bring out my cool weather outfits.
What accessories do you have on right now: 7 silver hoop earrings in each ear, clear crystal nose stud, gold chain with various charms, pink crystal belly ring, silver heart bracelet, engagement ring.

Weekend plans: I’m singing in a show tonight which I’m SUPER excited for. Then I have to clean for my parents’ visit, start Skyrim, then my theater show on Sunday. Gonna be busy!
Accessories: Well shoot, just the hoops in my ears. I have a ring that I wear every day, but I forgot to put it on this morning. Kind of ironic since I was double checking that I had all my costume pieces and makeup for tonight. Guess it slipped my mind.

Not at all! 🙂 They all sit quietly and wait for their dishes to be placed in front of them. I’m super strict with my animals regarding certain behaviours.
Mellan sits and stays, but he looks like he’s about to leap out of his body, LOL.
Chloe is my food addicted dog. She lives for feeding time and after 12 years, she still needs feeding protocol reminders. LOL

■eekend plans: Put away both HauteLook orders. Orly polishes and The Balm goodies. Cook for the week and SLEEP. This weather is perfect for laying in the bed watching Hulu. Currently I am wacthing Little Mosque (On The Prarie). Excellent show!!
■What accessories do you have on right now?: Gold hope earrings, gold necklace with a gold wheat lady pendant, my Grandmothers diamond and gold ring (made from a pair of gold diamond earrings), her wedding band (snuck out of Nazi (MTNBE) Germany) of platinum and diamonds, my gold and peridot stone ring, gold-tone Seiko with diamonds, blue Missoni Infinity Scarf, random brand umbrella, camo Coach hangbag, random leather belt and Plantronics headphones (for work LOL!).
Eeekkk forgot about my gold nose stud … Does that count? I’ve had it for so long, I always forget it’s in my nose :/

Weekend plans: Gaming tomorrow (and I missed last session, so I’m looking forward to this one) and work on Sunday. Also I have to do a lot of laundry.
Accessories: Just the two I always wear, my engagement ring and my wedding ring. They’re not a set so I wear my engagement ring on my right hand and my wedding band on my left hand.
Haul: More perfume. I’m holding off on the makeup until Sephora’s F&F.
Weekend plans: Try to get motivated to do a ton of stuff I really don’t want to do. Also, find a restaurant for my birthday dinner next week & research what new laptop I should get if I don’t have a new hard drive installed into my current (and dying) one.
What accessories do you have on right now?: Cartier watch, rings & earrings but since I never take off the watch or rings except to occasionally switch them out, I don’t really see them as accessories.

Weekend plans: Babysit my four year old niece, finish knitting a top, laundry and cleaning. I might put up some shelves too since I’ve been meaning to do that for a few weeks.
Accessories: Does an elastic hair tie count? I’m kind of sitting around in loungewear at the moment.
I just have to say Mellan is so adorable! My cat lets ME know when it’s dinnertime. She gets very needy, starts meowing at me, and walks in front of me as if to lead me to her food bowl.
Haul: my Halloween Costume, finally!
Weekend Plans: Crafting. Lots of Halloween crafting. lol I plan on turning a normal mason jar into a nightlight that has “Bottle of Boos” scripted with a few glow in the dark ghosts painted on. We’ll see how that turns out. It’s for a friend of mine 🙂
Accessories: My mustang necklace that I never take off, my birthstone ring my mom gave me on my 11th birthday, and a silicone bracelet I got for donating to a children’s hospital. I’m not much of an accessory person lol
I’ve been meaning to tell you how much I enjoy the weekly Mellan photos! As well as everything else, of course!
I love make up palettes for eyes, face and lips. MAC, IT Cosmetics and Smashbox have some lovely ones.
My longest wearing lipstick: MAC and Marilyn Miglin.
Haul: just some cheap stuff…the Rimmel Glam Eyes quad in Precious Crown (I’m blown away by the pigmentation, especially for four bucks!), Maybelline Eye Studio quad in Give Me Gold, Duo lash glue, ardell demi wispies, revlon Beyond Natural lashes in Natural Defining, Maybelline The Falsies replacement mascara, Sinful Colors nail polish in Rich in Heart (perfect fall color!).
Also thinking about ordering the wig for my Halloween costume, Mac Rebel, and maybe a new lash curler.
Weekend plans: I don’t have weekends, I just have work- one of the many joys of working at a grocery store haha.
What accessories do you have on right now?: darkish pink python print scarf, gold cuff, gold hoops, and a fake rose gold watch.
Do you at least get your own kind-of weekend?
Haul: Lets see….Tarina Tarantino eyeliner X1, conditioning lip sheen in “candy jar”, sparklicity glosses X2 and a backup of feather blush. Also some Tatcha rice exfoliating powder and some skin serum. On the way is 3 sale priced UD shadows in strip and two other colors along with the empty palette…decided to try it.
Just ordered some new winter clothes tonight for work as well.
Plans: Nothing. I have no money now so I will re-organize my room and turn my closet from summer to winter…sigh!
Accessories…do mismatched socks count? Nah, I didn’t think so. Oh well!
