Fenty Beauty Summer Daze Iridescent Lip Luminzer Trio Review, Photos, Swatches
Summer Daze
Fenty Beauty Summer Daze Iridescent Lip Luminzer Trio ($32.00 for 0.30 oz.) contains three iridescent glosses that are designed to “apply sheer” so they can be worn “solo for a prismatic wash of color” or over another lipstick “for endless new combinations.” The gloss formula was smooth, non-sticky, and comfortable wear with decent longevity given that they were a sheerer, non-sticky formulation (tackiness usually helps improve wear times in my experience). I didn’t detect any scent or taste, but vanillin is listed as an ingredient, so I’d expect that those with better noses may detect a subtle vanilla scent.

Single
Single is a light green with subtle, warm undertones and fine green and gold pearl. It had sheer coverage, as expected, which applied fairly evenly across my lips, but the shimmer didn’t disperse quite as well as the other two shades. From afar, it wasn’t noticeable, though. The gloss had a smooth, non-sticky texture that was comfortable and lightweight to wear. It lasted for three hours and was moisturizing while worn.

Bilingual
Bilingual is a soft, peachy-orange with warm, yellow undertones and flecks of peach, pink, and gold sparkle and finer pearl. It had sheer coverage that applied without streaking, and the sparkles dispersed well across my lips, but there was a bit of product that sat in my lip lines, though I didn’t feel like it was noticeable from a normal viewing distance. The texture was smooth, thin without being too clingy, and comfortable on my lips. It wore well for three hours on me and was hydrating to wear.

Ready to Mingle
Ready to Mingle is a medium-dark lavender with subtle, cool undertones and flecks of larger blue-to-violet sparkle and finer pink and blue pearl. It had sheer coverage but had a noticeable tint to the base, so it deepened my natural lip color and made it appear cooler in tone. The texture was smooth, lightweight, and comfortable to wear, as it was lightly hydrating over the four hours it lasted for.

I wonder how these compare to the glosses that came out with the Fenty holiday collection. I didn’t find those to be tacky, but they looked to have a lot more colour payoff than these shades. I guess that may just be indicative of a sheerer base, though.
Pretty. I’m really tempted to pick this trio up.
I just picked these up this past weekend and I am in love with the formula. I have dry lips and these feel very moisturizing and comfortable. They also look pretty on the lips. I hope she comes out with a gloss line with the same formula.
It’s a solid gloss formula — super comfy to wear 🙂
Eeek! I came so close to buying this set when I bought Summer Nights trio! I actually love both. The interesting combos that can be had when layered over various lipsticks is wild! Mermaid Thighs over UD Bad Blood creates the juiciest rich cherry red! Snakeskin over PMG She’s Heaven is super complex looking, not too OTT, but not a basic nude either.
I got this set as a birthday present to myself (worried it would sell out!) and have been loving all three. I normally don’t like glitter in glosses, but I am jumping on the whole trend and find that the sheerness of these makes this set so workable and arty. The cool pink color sold me on this one versus the Summer Nights set, and the blue sparkles in it were a nice surprise. I smell a vanilla scent with them. I also found these less sticky than MAC or Anastasia Beverly Hills, which was another plus.
Oh, yeah, they are a lot less sticky compared to MAC Lipglass for sure!
I also think that the sheerness and amount of shimmer/sparkle strikes a good balance in making them wearable on their own or layered over other products.
Three pretty lip glosses for $38 is a good summer deal that I couldn’t pass up. Ready to Mingle looks good on its own. But I plan to use these mostly as lip toppers
Who is Curse LLC and why are they coming up when I open this email? Said they are behavioural company, I could not see your products as their pop up blacked the screen. Is it spam? Scary!
Please respond, Christine, thanks. Never had it before today.

These are really pretty! I especially like the look of Single. The other set looks great too!!
Both of these sets are so pretty. I’m going to order them.
