Fenty Beauty Mauve Wives, Fenty Glow & Honey Waffles Gloss Bomb Creams Reviews & Swatches
Mauve Wives
Fenty Beauty Mauve Wives Gloss Bomb Cream ($19.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a muted, medium mauve with subtle, cool undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in one layer, which applied evenly and spread easily across my lips, but there was a bit of product that settled into my lip lines–not quite enough to be noticeable from a normal viewing distance.
The texture was non-sticky, smooth, and plush without being too thick, though I felt like it was thicker than ideal for building up color as a second layer did feel noticeably thick and heavier. It wore well for four hours and felt moisturizing over time.

Formula Overview
$19.00/0.3 oz. - $63.33 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "buildable" coverage from "medium" to "full" with "zero shimmer" and a "non-sticky feel." They had medium to semi-opaque coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly in most instances, though there was light settling into my deeper lip lines with a couple of shades.
The consistency was smooth, mostly non-sticky, and like a plusher cream, though lightweight, but it was a slightly thicker gloss to the point where adding a full-on, second layer did start to feel heavier and like I had a lot of product on, so I'd recommend these more for someone who wasn't interested in building up the coverage beyond one layer.
They wore around four hours on me and felt hydrating over time. The formula has the same sweet, peachy scent as the original Gloss Bomb (no discernible taste to me).

Fenty Glow
Fenty Beauty Fenty Glow Gloss Bomb Cream ($19.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a soft, light-medium coral with moderate, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had medium to semi-opaque color coverage, which could be built up further with a second layer, though the texture was plush enough as one layer that two felt like a lot of product on the lips.
The gloss had a smooth, non-sticky feel that was spreadable and comfortable tow ear, though there was a touch of product that settled into my deeper lip lines. It stayed on nicely for four hours and felt hydrating over time.

Honey Waffles
Fenty Beauty Honey Waffles Gloss Bomb Cream ($19.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a light-medium orange with strong, warm golden undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had medium pigmentation in a single layer of product, and it was buildable in coverage with a second layer but felt quite heavy and was fairly streaky with that second layer on.
The texture was smooth, lightweight, and plush without being tacky, while the color could have applied more evenly and stayed out of my lip lines. This shade had more noticeable settling from a normal viewing distance, unfortunately. It lasted well for four hours and felt moisturizing over time.

Again, I love them all! However, I believe that I could pull off Fenty Glow and Mauve Wive$ the best. Honey Waffles if I still had young, perfect colored teeth! That shade is so unique and fun!
Hm….I’m glad I waited for your reviews on these, because I don’t think I’d be happy with them. None of the colors look like they would work for me at all. Thank you Christine! That’s money saved.
I really want Mauve Wives! I like Fenty Glow but I don’t think it would work for me. I get the feeling it’s going to look very brown on me. I’m jealous of all the people I see wearing it who have darker skin—it looks more pink on them.
I have Mauve Wives and I like the color but the slightly sour vanilla taste is off putting. It’s supposed to have the same peach vanilla flavor of the original Gloss Bomb but this is completely different. I’ve seen quite a few reviews on Sephora’s site saying the same thing.
