Too Faced Peach Beach Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Too Faced Peach Beach Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush
Too Faced Peach Beach Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush ($29.00 for 0.19 oz.) is described as a “shimmering peach,” “rose pink,” and “shimmering light golden bronze.” Swirled together, it creates a light, champagne-shimmered, medium brown with a soft, rosy tint. It had a lightly frosted finish. Charlotte Tilbury First Love (P) is slightly darker, warmer. Kevyn Aucoin Natura (P) is browner. MAC Seasonal Appeal (LE, $21.00) is darker, less shimmery. MAC Margin (P, $21.00) is warmer, more shimmery. MAC Barefaced (LE, $21.00) is warmer. Chanel Espiegle (P, $43.00) is pinker, lighter. See comparison swatches.
Like Something About Berry, powderiness characterized the texture of this powder. That powderiness resulted in sheerer, softer color–it’s just prone to sheering out as soon as you go to blend it–and didn’t contribute happily to wear time, either, as this was noticeably faded after the six-hour mark. I have had this experience with a lot of baked products, so if you have experienced better wear out of baked blushes and the like, consider your own experience as a good starting point. This particular shade will work best on light-medium skin tones or fairer complexions, as it was nearly lost against mine; there is a subtle brown-ish warmth but it’s very, very subtle. This shade was a lot less pigmented compared to Something About Berry, which contributed heavily to why it was rated even lower.

I was thinking about getting the Berry shade but I don’t like baked formulas either.
If you don’t like baked formulas, definitely skip this!
I just can’t get over how pretty Jelly Bean La Creme looks on you!
As for the blush, I usually don’t really mind sheer blushes, as I like my blush to be quite light, but if wear and application are compromised, I may not bother. Especially not at this price point!
If baked blushes normally wear fine on you, then you’re probably going to be okay! Baked products always seem to fade faster on me!
Most blushes don’t wear all that well on me to begin with, so I might be okay.
Although it looks very light when swirled together, the individual colors look beautiful in the pan!!
It is a very pretty shade!
Pretty to have and look at, but that’s about it then I guess.
True!
Meh, frosty baked blush again.
Guess it’s not a product for you! 🙂
OMG….What an awesome packaging!!! i need this in my life…u look pretty dear !
Thanks, Renji!
WELL, I’m definitely skipping this one!
I would, too!
These always look gorgeous in the packaging, but too bad about the rating!
What´s on your lips? Looks lovely! Have you tried a kabuki brush with baked blushers? Works for me. I mostly have Mac baked blushes.
Thanks for the suggestion, T! I find kabuki brushes huge for applying blush – what kabuki brush do you use?
Too Faced Jelly Bean on lips!
Oh sorry, it says Jelly Beans right there under the photo. Not sure it was there before but I was looking for the info after the post.
The kabuki I use is from MAC but I am not sure if it is 182. It´s been years since I bought it so I am not sure whether they still have it. There is only 182 on MAC website. The one I have is similar to that and I also have the bigger one but don´t know which one is on the MAC website. The smaller one is small enough in my opinion. I would think you already have it 🙂
I know for sure I have the 182, lol!
Thanks, T!
I checked the number. It is Mac 181. I think it is small enough because only the middle of the brush hits the blush (especially when using mac mineralized blush because of their shape). It kind of blends the blush as well 🙂
So sad to see the D+ rating on this. Is the original sweetheart blush better? I had high hopes for this one because peach goes really well with my skintone.
The first one is the best of the three, as it wears longer and isn’t as powdery, but boy, this was so powdery and shorter-wearing!
it seems like you never have anything nice to say about too faced………..this blush looks awesome…..a d??? really?
Maybe you should try reading more than just this review, Candice! 🙂 http://www.temptalia.com/category/brands/too-faced
I have many Too Faced reviews with ratings ranging from A+ to yes, D. Just because it’s cute to look at doesn’t mean it performs well – that’s kind of why blogs like this exist! If you’ve tried it, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
