Too Faced Cat Eyes Palette ($36.00 for 0. oz.) is an eyeshadow palette that includes nine shades, with three being larger and six being smaller in size. Three shades can also be used wet as eyeliners. There were a few really nice shades in this palette, but then there were a couple of more problematic shades. The worst was the glittery silver, as it was sheerer and prone to fall out. I thought it had a good balance of warm and cool-toned shades, though.

Purr is a very light, white-beige with subtle, warm undertones and a frosted finish. The texture was soft and smooth, and the color payoff was good. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Tiger’s Eye is a medium-dark, bronzy brown with warm, copper undertones and a frosted finish. The powder felt soft, smooth, and buttery to the touch, and it had excellent pigmentation. This shade didn’t start to fade until after eight and a half hours of wear. It’s a lovely, high quality shade, but it’s very easily duped. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Leopard is a dark, subtly warm-toned brown with gold sparkle and shimmer. It had good color payoff applied both wet or dry, though the shimmer is more noticeable when it is applied with a dampened brush. The texture was fairly soft, a little powdery. It wore well for eight hours on me. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Meow is a light, neutral-toned beige with a matte finish. It had excellent pigmentation, and the powder was soft, smooth, and finely-milled without being powdery. This shade stayed on well for eight hours before fading. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Pussy Cat is a muted, medium purple with lavender shimmer and subtle, warm undertones. The texture was slightly powdery, and the color payoff was decent, but it’s a color that needs to be patted and layered on to get color more like what you see in the pan. On the lid, it wore well for seven and a half hours. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Jungle Love is a muted, deepened purple with fuchsia and violet shimmer over a semi-matte finish. This shade was difficult to use dry, as it was sheer, powdery, and difficult to blend. It worked better when applied with a dampened brush, as the color intensified and the product was more blendable. It wore well for eight hours before I saw signs of fading. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Kitten is a light, cool-toned pink with a white base and a satin-matte finish. It had good color payoff, though the texture was soft and finely-milled, it was also noticeably powdery. Applied, the color stayed on well for seven and a half hours before fading. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Kitty Glitter is a sparkling, silver with a glittery finish. It had semi-sheer pigmentation, and the texture has a slightly chunky feel to it from the glitter. I had significant fall out with this shade both during and after application (I highly recommend using it prior to applying base makeup), though the “color” portion wore decently for eight hours. My under-eye area looked like a disco ball after a few hours, so you may want to use an adhesive base with this shade as well. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Panther is a dark black with a matte finish. Applied dry, it had decent color payoff, and applied with a dampened brush, it was much more intense and true-to-pan. The color wore well for eight hours before it started to fade slightly. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

I feel that they come out with pretty similar shades. Maybe it’s just me, but if anyone has The Chocolate Bar, they probably have similar shades to work with.

They definitely do! I like Too Faced, but I feel like they put a lot of effort into a palette’s themes, rather than unique/interesting colors, and since they name everything to fit the theme, it’s hard to see at a glance if there are dupes or not.

It’s true that the shades are very similar to others from TF, but they do the most beautiful palettes. For someone who is new to the brand, maybe, this would be enchanting. In confess I love all this neutral colors and I wouldn’t wear anything else (like blues, greens, purples etc)

Oh! Another Too Faced Palette! Does that mean you’ll be reviewing the Country palette too! I’m looking forward to that! And the new Natural Eyes one if you’re doing that too. =)

Yes! I got the Rock n Roll palette but was waiting to see the reviews on this one!
Thanks! I’m in a purple stage which I found out makes my brown eyes stand out! 😉 plus you just gotta love the packaging! ! The only thing I keep saying Is I wish their pans were all the same size.

I was just wondering if this palette was limited edition or not because I called too faced and they said it was not but on the sephora website it says that it is.

Michalyn Avatar

thank you for answering I think I will just buy it anyway I love leopard print and I don’t own any too faced palettes and I will definitely use the colors

It’s a nice looking palette, but with my favourite shades not getting top grade, I’ll pass on it. Why is it so hard to make good lilacs and purples?!
