Estee Lauder Solar Crush Illuminating Powder Gelee Review & Swatches
Solar Crush
Estee Lauder Solar Crush Illuminating Powder Gelee ($47.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a medium, coppery bronze with warm undertones and a golden, metallic sheen. The pigmentation was opaque in a single layer, though the denser, smooth texture made it easier to just pick up less (with a feathery brush or lighter hand). The highlighter applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with ease. It sat well on my skin and didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. This shade lasted well for eight and a half hours on me before fading slightyl.

Opaque in a single layer, but blends out easily and can be applied lightly using a feathery brush or light hand? Wow. I use blushes on my eyes and eyeshadows as highlighters; eye- and lip-safe considerations aside, wouldn’t it be wonderful if all face products were that flexible in application? [sigh] I can but dream…
I bet this would be gorgeous on dark skin, NC50 here. Like I need another highlighter!!!
Everything about this is just stunning!
Because this gives off a more natural copper infused glow, this sets it apart from its dupes. And that’s exactly what I love about it! This with my usual UD Jawbone would give me a lovely sun-kissed look to my complexion, I believe!
I think this would look gorgeous on you, Nancy!
Stunning shade and beautiful finish.
