The formula is supposed to have an “ultra-silky” texture that gives a “healthy-looking glow” and a “rush of fresh, radiant color.” The press release is more specific and says it’s supposed to have “buildable dewy color that lasts all day.” According to the brand, the blush formula is a reformulation, but I don’t have any shades in the previous formula to compare to (and it’s been awhile since I last tried one, so all I can say is that they feel, in general, a little smoother). It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage (opaque coverage in three layers) with a soft, lightly dusty texture that was smooth and blendable on the skin and didn’t read dry on. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me.

Oh this shade looks veeeery pretty on you!
Thank you!
In the pan it looks like MAC Desert Rose but with some shine/”dew,” or am I crazy?
I can’t recall if I have Desert Rose or not, so I am not sure!
A pretty color and finish! I’m looking for cooler-toned blushes, though.
Totally understand!
Oh, this is a nice color! Just a beautiful mix of brown/pink/red when blended out, will look flattering on many people.
It should!
Pretty. But, I would chose the Surrat at this price.
Gotcha!
Oh, wow, that’s just stunning when it’s blended out!
I have this in the original formula and I love them all. Since I have yet to try the new blush, the original formula is by far my favorite blush, I have 4 total. I have Wild Sunset, Brazen Bronze, Lover’s Blush and Alluring rose.
I have been usin the Sensuous Rose shade in the Estée Lauder Pure Color blush for years and it is one of my favorite blushes ever. I have the box from one and it is exactly the same as your photo of the ingredients in yours. How can it be a reformulation if it exactly the same? Maybe all that is different is the compact it comes in?
Is it similar to Blushbaby from MAC?
I think I am missing that one 🙁
Oh, this looks like a winner! I’d need to use a light hand but that color type is a godsend for those of us with Rosacea.
A really pretty shade Christine – looks lovely on you.
It does look so lovely on you. I don’t like the packaging though, too granny-ish.
That’s beautiful, wow.
I like this even better than the other rose blush, it’s a bit confusing them calling them both rose colours with slightly different descriptors. I wonder if the formula has replaced the Pure Colour formula? The other rose colour has the dupe in the Pure Colour formula.
Pretty color. Does it have much fragrance? I stopped buying Ester Lauder a long time ago bc of the strong scent. To be fair, I should probably try it again.
This color reminds me a bit of NARS ORGASM without the fireworks, glitter.
Very pretty! I can envision this color working well for a lot of people.
Beautiful color, looks to be a very neutral blush in terms of working with many different eye looks.
Even though I know the colors are very different, something about this reminds me of MAC’s Breezy. I think I might exchange Purr Pink for this one.
