Essence Bespoke The Blush Review & Swatches
Bespoke
Essence Bespoke The Blush ($2.99 for 0.17 oz.) is a light-medium, golden brown with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had good color coverage that was buildable to full coverage with less than half of a layer more on top. The texture was soft, smooth, and a smidgen firmer in the pan compared to other shades in the formula, but it wasn’t difficult to pick up and blending wasn’t difficult on my skin. It wore nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.

The formula is supposed to have "buildable" coverage with a "silky-smooth texture." They were more semi-opaque to opaque in pigmentation, though the texture was soft and yielding, so it was easy to use a lighter hand to pick up less product for sheerer coverage if preferred. It's just not a formula I'd inherently call buildable. The consistency was soft, a little powdery but not dry, and was blendable on my skin. They wore eight hours on me before fading noticeably.

I would be more inclined to pick up Becca Capri Coast. I’ve been waltzing around that one for a bit. I do not need more bronzer, but ?♀️. I do like certain bronzers as blush which brings me to being shocked and aghast that Benefit has changed their Dallas blush ? I had to toss my old one where I never hit pan, put a decent dent into it but it hardened and it needed to go. I think I had it for 10 years or more. I’m going to have to go on a search and see if I can find the original, preferably in mini format before it disappears forever ?
Love shades like this one! Just right for me in order to get a soft sun-kissed look to my cheeks. But I do have WnW Bronze Dynasty and MAC Baby Girl (Baby Girl doesn’t really show up that well on me, but I use it to warm up other blushes), so IDK.
I was excited to see essence come out with new blushes. I loved their old ones.
