The formula is supposed to have "opaque" coverage that is "long-lasting" in a "quick-drying gel base." They have a thin, watery consistency that had a cooling effect on the skin, which spread fairly well with the included doe-foot applicator but also was workable using a fingertip or brush to apply.
The liquid eyeshadow dried down quickly but I felt like I had enough time to blend out the edges or fix any unevenness without feeling like I was racing against the clock, but I would still recommend working on one eye at a time because the formula does fully dried down and will flake off if one attempts to blend it out after that.
Most shades had semi-opaque to opaque color payoff, and they lasted 10 hours without fading or creasing on me.

Galaxy is about as close to (an almost) one ‘n’ done eyeshadow for me, I would think! Just some MAC Kid as a transition and one of my dark plummy browns to add some definition to my crease is all I would need.
These are lovely! Excellent ratings for the price. I really liked Comet and I thought that Galaxy was a bit of an unusual taupe shade, with its rosy undertones.
