Dior Tiny Pink (269) & Rieuse (373) Dior Addict Fluid Sticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Dior Tiny Pink (269) Dior Addict Fluid Stick
Dior Tiny Pink (269) Dior Addict Fluid Stick ($35.00 for 0.18 fl oz.) is a light-medium, yellow-toned pink with warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. It had mostly opaque color coverage with some translucency, but it covered the natural lip color for the most part. There was some minor settling of the color into vertical lip lines, but it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. This shade lasted for four and a half hours on me. Urban Decay Flushed (P, $19.00) is less glossy, darker. Paul and Joe Beaute Carnaval (06) (P, $29.00) is darker. Maybelline Caramel Infused (065) (P, $8.99) is a touch lighter. MAC Viva Glam Nicki (LE, $15.00) is less warm-toned. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Dior Rieuse (373) Dior Addict Fluid Stick ($35.00 for 0.18 fl oz.) is a slightly muted, medium coral-pink with a creamy, glossy finish. It had rich, mostly opaque pigmentation that covered my natural lip color. It applied evenly and smoothly, and it wore well for five hours on me. Dior Magique (479) (P, $35.00) is pinker. Hourglass Muse (P, $28.00) is darker, brighter. NARS Paris Follies (LE, $26.00) is similar. MAC Drawn in Chic (LE, $15.00) is similar. Marc Jacobs Beauty Paint It (202) (P, $28.00) is warmer. MAC Fever Isle (LE, $20.00) is shimmery. Revlon Papaya (P, $7.49) is shimmery. MAC Star Quality (LE, $20.00) is slightly pinker. Illamasqua Mistress (P, $22.00) is brighter. Hourglass Nectar (P, $28.00) is brighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
This formula is supposed to have the effect of “shiny gloss and pigmented lipstick into one color-rich product.” It is also described as long-wearing, lightweight, and having coverage “that is between a gloss and lipstick.” The texture is lightweight, creamy, and almost cool-to-the-touch when initially applied, but it thickens slightly and clings more to the natural curvature of the lip without being uncomfortable. A slight tackiness develops shortly after application and gets progressively tackier as it wears on, though it never feels too sticky or gluey. It feels mostly like a more opaque lipgloss than a liquid lipstick. It was fairly hydrating and wore longer than the average gloss. It had a perfume-y scent that is stronger during application than it is worn. At times, I felt like I was tasting it here and there (almost soapy), but it was faint enough that sometimes I thought I was imagining it. I also had issues with the color getting on my teeth.

Both of these..so freaking pretty!
They’re very wearable!
I love love love Rieuse! Such a bright pretty coral! I am dying to get my hands on it!
I only bought Rieuse because everyone seemed to love it, lol!
These are gorgeous! I’ve never spent that much on a lip product and I’m kind of scared of what could happen once I cross that threshold! But really beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure, Allison!
I like them both! They look gorgeous on you.
Aw, thanks, Rikki!
Tiny pink and Rieuse are my kind of colours! The formula sounds too good to be true!
They’re easy to wear!
I have Rieuse and love it! When these first came out, I was obsessed with them and wanted every color- fortunately (I guess, at times- lol), I don’t have a store within several hours of me that carries this line, so I only ordered this one shade. Like I said, I love it, but I found that I love the Lancôme lip lover line even better- they feel better on my lips and are less expensive- unfortunately, now I am obsessed with them- lol! Between those ands Bite, I can’t stop buying lip products- the colors are soooo good for summer! Great review- as usual!
Ah, well, at least you found a few products you love!
Rieuse is so pretty!! Love it on you!
Thanks, Fancie!
Tiny Pink looks AMAZING on you Christine! And your skin! Natural glowing fabulous perfection! What foundation, powder or anything else are you wearing on your face? I can’t find out because the section of the post that shows what other makeup you’re wearing is gone. Will you put it back soon?
Hi Noah,
The section is at the end of the post – right after the last photo:
THE MAKEUP LOOK
On face: Guerlain Parure de Lumiere Foundation, Guerlain Les Voilettes Loose Powder. On eyes: Smashbox 3D Pacific Eyeliner.
Darn it but those colours look really pretty on you. Am now going away to figure how I can unsee the niceness of those lippies and while I’m at it get my daughter to hide my wallet. Gah!
LOL! You didn’t see it! Nope!
Rieuse is *SUCH* a pretty coral on you! 😀 I don’t have a lot of other words, really… just stunning!
Thanks a lot, Sylirael! 🙂
I bought Rieuse and adored the color. It applied beautifully and felt like a cool gel going on. I didn’t find it to be particularly long-wearing, though, at least not on my lips. It did leave behind a bit of stain after the gloss wore off, though, so it was easily refreshed. Unfortunately, the formula caused my lips to blister and so I had to return it. I really, really wanted to like this because I was a huge fan of Chanel’s discontinued Rouge Allure Laque. I was hoping Dior’s Fluid Stick would be similar. Unfortunately, that was not the case 🙁 Oh well, you win some; you lose some.
Oh no!! That’s horrible, Eileen! I hope your lips have healed up.
I purchased Tiny Pink today for myself for Mother’s Day– love it! It looks more natural on me than the Rieuse I gifted to my daughter. Im pretty sure Im going back for Magique soon! I love these! (Mostly applying sparingly and then enjoying the natural stain they leave behind hours later)
I wonder if this will make me a Dior convert?? I love their polishes so much too! But Ive definitely been riding a Chanel high for the past few months!
Happy Mother’s Day, PJ! Nice treat!
I have one of these… A darker color like Rose Harper…
The texture is unique and this has been floating around the web universe.
I still like dior rouge lipsticks better.
The texture and feel in general remind me of YSL’s Glossy Stains, but they’re not quite the same.
I like this better than YSL version. These colors are pretty but not my tone….also very different than that hourglass hot Barbie pink you wore too. These colors and that other one work well with Reese Witherspoon’s pink dress she wore at Met Gala.
YSL’s Glossy Stains last longer on me, and they don’t get on my teeth (these do, unfortunately!), so my preference is definitely to YSL’s, but I think that while Dior’s reminded me of YSL’s, the “dry down” texture is quite different so it’s not the same. Dior’s color range in this formula also seems to run surprisingly warm!
Pretty! This color looks great on you. Love your blog!
Thanks, Courtney!
Your skin is looking fantastic!! Please can you let us know what you are currently using in skincare and makeup! Thanks!!
Hi Amy!
My routine is always changing – my skin only looks half-decent due to prescription products, so nothing I can really recommend! 🙁
Oh LA LA!!? The second one on you!!! Girl!!!! Sizzling! But before seeing the preview, I must admit that the name, “tiny pink,” was soooo adorable that I was hoping to gain a sweet puppy or something! I’m really amused lovingly by that name.. Something for teeny things.. I just love it. But I’m not crazy about that particular shade. 😀 They should mske a “Tiny Dancer” palette to house this tiny pink & perhaps a toy poodle. 😀 <3
LOL! Here’s a lip gloss… and a puppy!
Ah, HAHAHAHA!!! 😀 That’s incredible! Thank you! They’re both so tiny!!! I LOVE them!! LOL 😀
Hey Christine
I love these colors. I bought 373 and another one but I’m not sure I’m applying it correctly because it doesn’t look as smooth as yours does. Do you have any tips? I only have 1 glossy stain and rarely use it so maybe I’m not used to these kinds of lipsticks .
I usually apply gloss to the bottom lip first, then the top, not sure if that really makes a difference… You might try applying, and then using the applicator itself to smooth out the color as it stands before getting more product (if you do so). Worst case scenario, a lip brush or a couple pats of your fingertip can help!
Both of these are so cute! Love the shades!
Yay! Will you be checking either out?
gorgeous shades dear 🙂
are you loving Smashbox liner as other teals ? really loving it
I like it! I don’t know if I’d say LOVE!
Looooove Rieuse! 😀
It seemed like everyone’s fave!
Rieuse is especially nice… so pretty!
It’s nice for everyday!
