Dior Rosy Canvas 3 Couleurs Tri(o)blique Palette Review & Swatches
Rosy Canvas (853)
Dior Rosy Canvas (853) 3 Couleurs Tri(o)blique ($63.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a new, limited edition pink-themed palette that includes two shimmery pinks and one more matte, deeper pink. The three shades were workable together, but I felt like the first and second shade could have been differentiated better. All three shades had good pigmentation, were blendable, and lasted between seven and eight hours over bare skin.

LELimited Edition. $63.00.
Rosy Canvas #1
Rosy Canvas #1 is a light-medium pink with warm undertones and a mix of lilac and gold shimmer over a metallic finish. It had good pigmentation with a soft, blendable consistency that wasn’t too powdery nor too firmly pressed in the pan. The product applied well over bare skin and stayed on well for eight hours on me.

Formula Overview
-
The formula is supposed to have "bold colour impact" where a "little product goes a long way" and the "powders glide on." Most of the shades in the Trios were pigmented, blendable, and easy enough to work with. Some of the very sparkly shades had light to moderate fallout during application and sometimes during wear. The texture ran slightly more powdery, slightly softer than average but was never messy to work with or prone to sheering out. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me.

Rosy Canvas #2
Rosy Canvas #2 is a light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had rich color payoff with a smooth, moderately dense consistency that was yielding without becoming powdery. The color applied evenly to bare skin and blended out without difficulty. It lasted well for eight hours on my skin before fading noticeably.

Rosy Canvas #3
Rosy Canvas #3 is a muted, medium-dark pink with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. There was a hint of gold pearl in it, but it appeared mostly matte when applied to my skin. The texture was soft, velvety, and finely-milled, which gave it a silky feel on my skin. The eyeshadow applied fairly well but did sheer out slightly and never appeared as deep or as rich as it did in the pan on my skin. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me before it showed signs of wear.

Honestly, I would prefer this as a blush!
Love the cool mauvey-ness of the first shade, the shimmer is next level.
At first, I thought it might be blush before I clicked on the link in my email…lol. Then, I saw your comment. It would make such pretty blush!
I thought it was a blush palette and immediately followed the link to Macy’s to see if it came in a more nude-peach combination. Was I ever confused!
Same here – I thought this was a blush trio and had to read through to see the word “eyeshadow” mentioned in the body of the review. I would never drop this much for eyeshadows in these colours.
Same!
TBH, I much more prefer the Kaja trios over this. Probably because if I’m going to buy something this monochromatic and one note in a quad or smaller, then I would want either greater differentiation between the shades, or a much lower price point.
Also, me and pink-pink all over the lid? Uh, nope.
A nice pink set there for someone who likes that sort of thing As per usual, I think two of the shades are too close to each other in appearance, but I’ve come to expect that.
I do see what you mean Christine, I am wondering whether the middle shade should have been the matte shade and the last shade the shimmer. Anyway, it is pretty and good quality, which is not always a given with Dior.
This looks really lovely, especially the more plummy shade.
Christine, I’m browsing from outside the country and every time I click on a new page, I get a pop-up about accepting cookies. I’ve already said yes to it, but I keep getting the notification. I can click anywhere on the page and it goes away. Just thought you’d like to know there’s a small glitch.

Very pretty little palette. Not something I need but it is pretty and nice to see good quality from Dior. I don’t really have much trouble with Dior shadows although I know it is problematic for some people. I always use a primer so that could have something to do with it. What I really like about this trio is the full name embossed on the middle shade. I think it is a really nice touch and makes me want the trio more but, and it is a big but, the price for three shades is a little ridiculous. Now if it were three greens, LOL!
I am oversaturated with shadows in this range. Does not stop me from being attracted to them…
I like the shades individually, but I agree that the two lighter shades are much to similar.
