Dior New World (365) Rouge Blush Review & Swatches
New World (365)
Dior New World (365) Rouge Blush ($44.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a medium, pinky-coral base with flecks of lavender and gold sparkle over a more satin-like finish. It was a more sparkly (or “glittery” in effect, but it did not contain plastic glitter) product where some of those sparkles seemed to disappear during application.
The blush was richly pigmented and applied evenly to bare skin with a formula that blended out beautifully with minimal effort. It wore well for eight and a half hours, though I had a few stray sparkles during wear.

Formula Overview
$48.00/0.22 oz. - $218.18 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "silky" and "lightweight" texture that's long-wearing and have "buildable" intensity. The blushes had a smooth, lightweight consistency that was finely-milled, though not as silky as I would have expected, without being too powdery nor too firmly-pressed into the pan.
The majority of the shades I tested had medium, buildable pigmentation that was hard to over-do but could definitely be intensified for higher coverage if desired. They applied evenly and blended out without issue, and they seemed to sit well on my skin with a semi-matte finish or higher. The more shimmery shades were still more low-level and had a sheen rather than overt shimmer that yielded a more metallic finish.
On my skin, most of the hues I trialed lasted eight hours before showing signs of fading. There was a soft, floral scent to the powders.

I was so curious when I saw this blush release- how does it wear on the skin compared to Dior Hologlam?
Hey Jessica!
When you say wear, what are you referring to? Longevity or something else?
Hi Christine!!
I think your blog was the one that pointed me to attend shade Hologlam- which I love! I noticed though that on the skin the pink base is kind of muted, and the sparkles can really be built up, so the finish has a strong sparkly lilac/bluish reflect. I guess my question was how does New World compare? It seems like the color of the “base” is stronger, but what about the sparkles?
No, I think the finish is pretty different as New World has some sparkle, but they are larger, so they don’t create a shift/sheen on the skin like Hologlam!
Thank you Christine, hat really helps! 😊
Super sweet shade for right now! It screams summer!
This is really intriguing me. I might have to put it on my wishlist!
This is beautiful – what a glorious shade.
OK, I love this. The base shade is beautiful, and I the amount of sparkles is perfect. Pretty and fun without being OTT.
So beautiful. Even though it’s a bit “coral”, it is SO beautiful that I’m tempted. But to me, the ultimate Dior blush is the Rosy Glow Awakening one, so I don’t know that I need to drop a hefty bit of cash on another one from them (though there is a shade in this range that might have me reaching for my credit card…)
BTW, Christine, there is no “comment box” for the Sundae Funday ColourPop quad further up.
Fixed the commenting issue! Thank you!
Hi Christine! Would you say that the glitter in this one is similar to Hologlam? I really like that one and this colour looks like it would be even better suited to my skin tone.
I think it’s larger than Hologlam! I find that Hologlam has more of a sheen and shift on my skin, whereas this is just more like different colored sparkle!
