Dior Glitz Backstage Glow Palette Review & Swatches
Glitz (002)
Dior Glitz (002) Backstage Glow Face Palette ($45.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a new, permanent (at least, from what I could discern) cheek palette that includes four shimmery shades. The first two shades seemed a bit more translucent, slightly more sparkly, whereas the bottom two shades had more of a pearlescent sheen with less overt shimmer/sparkle to them. As a result, the first two were sheerer and the remaining two more pigmented, but they all applied evenly, blended out well, and lasted around eight to nine hours on me.

Strobe Gold (Glitz)
Strobe Gold (Glitz) is a sparkling white gold with more of a translucent base and flecks of larger white gold sparkle. It had medium color coverage that could be built up to more semi-opaque coverage with a second layer. The texture was smooth, moderately dense, and firm (but not stiff), and it picked up best using a moderately-dense brush, which I find is true with the gel-powder kind of formula. It wore well for eight and a half hours but had a bit of migration over time from the larger sparkles.

Formula Overview
-
The formula is described as buildable from "a natural healthy glow to an intense luminosity." The brand goes on to list a slew of finishes--metallic, intense, shimmery, and glittery--though on the actual product, a few shades listed as "intense" online were listed as "sheer" on the label.
A lot of the "buildable" characteristic is tied to the glow/finish, which is common with the gel-powder hybrid formula that the brand is using, but the brand isn't as clear with respect to actual pigmentation. The brand's online promotional images show fully opaque "swatches." Worse, the actual pigmentation varied from shade to shade quite a bit, though they tended to be more medium to opaque, often buildable if they weren't fully opaque.
The texture was more of a smooth, slightly firmer formula that wasn't stiff to work with, but they did work better with a more moderately-dense brush or something with a larger surface area (to pick up product more evenly) when patted into the pan.

Strobe Gold (Glitz)
LELimited Edition.
Strobe Pink Gold
Strobe Pink Gold is a very light, peachy-pink with warmer undertones and pink and gold sparkle. It seemed to have more of a translucent base, though it did seem to have a light pink tone when applied to my skin. The powder had a smooth, moderately dense, and blendable consistency that was firm but not stiff. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to my cheeks and blended out readily. This shade lasted well for eight and a half hours before showing signs of fading.

Strobe Pink Gold
LELimited Edition.
Peach
Peach is a light-medium peach with strong, warm undertones and a golden sheen. It had semi-opaque color payoff that applied well to bare skin as it diffused easily and sat well without emphasizing skin texture. The consistency was smooth to the touch, dense without being overly firm, and blendable. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

Peach
LELimited Edition.
Bronze
Bronze is a medium, coppery brown with moderate, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly to bare skin. The texture was soft, smooth, and dense without being stiff or difficult to pick up with a brush but worked best with a moderately-dense brush (as gel-powder formulas tend to do). It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

Very pretty, but I think I would like a more pigmented and stronger shade that is meant to be the blush shade – it looked too translucent, too pale. As a face palette, I think you would be expecting a blush shade that you could use, if this colour story suits you.
This pallets looks like perfection to me! I love these tones . I would use this daily!
When I bout this quad last year, it was all because Mel Thompson raved about it, especially the Peach shade, so I knew it was a special one. I use it all the time! And Bronze is the perfect bronzey copper blush for me during summertime. The top two shades I usually either mix together, or mix one of those with Peach for some extra bang.
Such a pretty palette. I though it should be something that would suit me, but no, all the shades are too warm for me. Interesting because they didn’t look it in the pans.
I’ll just congratulate all more warm toned makeup lover out there.
