Dior Feel High Fidelity Eyeshadow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches
Feel
Dior Feel High Fidelity Eyeshadow Palette ($62.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a new, permanent eyeshadow palette with a deeper set of neutral shades. It has a new formula that’s supposed to have “highly pigmented” color with “spectacular staying power.” The formula was better than some of the past iterations from Dior, though it was still more semi-opaque to opaque in coverage but had seven to eight-hour wear. The big difference that I noticed was in the texture; it was firmer (but not stiff) in the pan and had less dustiness than some of the past formulations.

Feel #1
Feel #1 is a rich, dark plummy brown with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. The pigmentation was fantastic, while the consistency was smooth, blendable, and soft without being powdery or too firm in the pan. It wore well for eight hours before fading on me.

Feel #2
Feel #2 is a soft, light-medium golden beige with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had opaque color payoff that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with ease. The eyeshadow felt soft, smooth, and did not kick up any excess powder in the pan. It started to fade on me after seven and a half hours of wear.

Feel #3
Feel #3 is a medium-dark brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had great pigmentation with a smooth consistency that wasn’t too firm or too soft in the pan, which kept it blendable in practice but did not suffer from powderiness or any fallout during application. This shade stayed on well for eight hours.

Feel #4
Feel #4 is a medium, golden brown with warm undertones and a soft, frosted finish. It had rich, opaque color coverage that went on evenly and blended out effortlessly. I liked how the texture was firm enough to adhere well to bare skin but soft and finely-milled that I could diffuse the edges nicely. It wore well for eight hours before fading on me.

Feel #5
Feel #5 is a blackened brown with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had good pigmentation with a soft, slightly drier texture that needed some extra work to blend out when I tried using it in my crease, though it was workable and I didn’t feel like it was impossible to blend by any means. The eyeshadow lasted nicely for eight hours on me.

Oh, pretty. Love the plum vibe. Nice to see Dior finally making some quality quints again!
I agree!
Wow! This looks beautiful. I haven’t bought Dior in years because I had been so disappointed in past products, but this is making me rethink. It reminds me of Lorac’s Unzipped palette but this one has my initials on it! 🙂
It might be worth swatching in-store/at a counter sometime!
It’s a beautiful palette and you eye look showed it off perfectly. Possibly one to consider, especially for travel.
Thanks a lot, Tracey!
Nice combo. Great for fall. Beautiful look. Glad Dior seems to have redeemed itself, ever since E du D.
It’s nice to see some permanent hits from Dior!
Wow…this is right up my alley. I don’t like my eyes to be heavily done and I love sheer washes of color. This looks beautiful and I am in the minority and have been generally happy with Dior shadows. As lovely as this is, it looks a lot like the Dior Cuir Cannage eyeshadow quad so I may have to skip.
I could see it being a workhorse palette for many!
Well, well, well, this looks promising!! I’m glad Dior is finally improving their shadow formula. This one is too neutral for me, but I’m eyeing the purple one, and any other colorful ones
Right? It’s about time!
I wonder if the step up in quality has to do with Dior being purchased by LMVH, the company that owns Sephora and other brands.
LVMH has been involved for years, I believe? I think that the % of voting rights/control has been fluctuating over time but already owned the beauty/perfume business. The recent news about LVMH/Dior seemed to be buying out minority shareholders (the deal is so they have ownership of what seems like the fashion side). https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/25/business/dealbook/lvmh-arnault-christian-dior.html?_r=0
Also, it would be at least a few months, if not a year, before we saw real changes from ownership since the deal just happened last month!
Very interesting! I didn’t know that. Either way I welcome the “new” Dior and hope that the increased quality is here to stay!
What an incredibly beautiful palette. So tasteful, and yet very practical. They aren’t my colors, but I can still admire them. Yay, Dior.
Oh I like this! It fits basically everything I need to get a full look out of too!
hey Christine, beautiful eye look you did, what eye pencil did you use on the lower lash line?
Right under the photo, there’s a link to “Look Details” – please click that for information on the look!
Whoa! Nice! I just got TF’s Nude Dip — similar-ish, right? Or is is different enough?
It looks lovely on you.
Nude Dip is a lot more shimmer, I would say!
Wow, sounds like they are working on the formula. Good to hear. I don’t own any Dior palettes, but this one is pulling at me!
Oh, this is SO pretty and goes to show what Dior is capable of when it tries! I may have no choice but to buy this!
If I didn’t already feel like I was drowning in the neutrals in my own stash, I would be on this in a nanosecond! This is a perfect little neutral quint that I could see becoming a indispensable mainstay, a top 10 item in ones personal collection. Seriously tempting me, and I have yet to make many deep dips in the ones I already have.
This looks pretty, but I also feel it’s like Cuir Cannage 2.0. I just wore that palette the other day, and I can’t really justify buying one so close just because it’s new
This is a dead ringer for Cuir Cannage! Actually, as Dior palettes go, Cuir Cannage was not bad at all. I still use it sometimes, but glad to know they have improved the formula. Love the look you created.
Dior quints are a work of art in themselves.
Is it available for purchase? I can’t seem to find it online.
Yes, it is online! I don’t know where you’re located or else I would be happy to provide a retailer. I purchased mine online…
It looks really good! It actually seems quite similar in terms of shades to the Cuir Cannage palette in their previous range (I imagine the High Fidelity will replace the current 5 Couleurs palettes?), which was one of the best in that line.
This is a stunning quint – reminds me of Cuir Cannage in terms of the shades – but this one is of much better quality. Beautiful autumnal tones really, but I think you could wear these shades all year round. Love it.
Gorgeous eye look too Christine.
Too much brown for me I think but I love the mix of finishes!
I’m actually really glad that Dior are finally making eyeshadows that are getting good grades and looks very useful and versatile. I’l have to have a bit of a swatch moment at a counter soonish.
(My wallet might not like this, though ) 🙂
This looks so pretty and easy to wear! Even better if thay have a good raiting. Do you know if this are replacing the 5 Couleur Palettes? I noticed that Nordstrom and Macy’s don’t have them online any more.
Dior always seems to make their neutral shadow palettes look soooo good 🙂
WTG, Dior. This and the purple one are pretty impressive.
I keep coming back to this review. A gorgeous palette. I especially like #1 plummy brown, but really I think I would all the shades. Like you said, it could be a workhorse. Yep, I am definitely going to go looking for this in-store.
