Make Up For Ever S622 Black Brown Artist Color Shadow ($17.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a deep brown with subtle, pinkish undertones andd a satin finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that applied evenly and smoothly on bare skin. The consistency was dense, smooth to the touch, and rather blendable along the edges, though I did feel like I needed to be more heavy handed in order to dislodge product from the surface of the powder. On me, it stayed on well for 10 hours. The color was much darker and cooler in overall tone compared to the previous formula (see side-by-side comparison).
