Dior Bubble Gum (546) Double Rouge Matte Metal Colour & Couture Contour Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium coral with moderate, warm undertones and a cream finish. The texture was lightweight, balm-like without being too slippery or thick, and lightweight, so it was comfortable to apply and to wear. It had nearly opaque color payoff that adhered evenly to my lips and didn’t settle noticeably into my lip lines. This shade stayed on well for four hours and was hydrating over time.

The formula is supposed to mix a "vibrant hue" with a "pastel shade" to create "lips like candy." It's supposed to be "highly pigmented" with a more satin finish. The consistency was smooth, lightly creamy, and comfortable to apply and to wear, as it had enough slip to glide but not enough that it felt slippery while worn. They had good color coverage that was nearly opaque to full coverage in a single layer. The two colors seemed to mix as they were applied to my lips, but there might be a need for some subtle pressing and blending of colors along the edges to get a really seamless lip look. On me, the lipsticks lasted four to six hours on me, depending on the shade. They had a floral scent but no discernible taste.

Dior Tutti Frutti (656) Double Rouge Matte Metal Colour & Couture Contour Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a bright, medium pink-coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. The lipstick had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, but it didn’t adhere as well to my upper lip area as my bottom lip–it seemed to splinter a bit along the natural texture on my lips, though it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. The consistency was smooth, creamy, and more balm-like with moderate slip, but it wasn’t too thick or too slippery. I could see a subtle, brightening effect of the yellow center coming through on my lips (particularly the bottom lip), but the overall color was well-blended as I applied. It wore nicely for four and a half hours and was moisturizing to wear.

Maybe it’s just me, but these lipsticks don’t look matte or medal, to me, haha! But they’re really pretty!
I don’t get it either. Neither matte nor metal. Hmm.
I think the name refers to the mixed bullet, not the the shade once applied. Though I wouldn’t call the cores “metal,” myself.
Beautiful spring-like shades. I love both, though thankfully, I’m covered for both. Tutti Frutti could be a fun one for the novelty of that bright yellow core alone!
Very pretty shades for spring/summer but I don’t wear these colours so an easy pass for me. Formula looks just okay so with all the great formula’s out there I think I would pass even if the colours worked for me.
I literally *just* bought Bite Chiffonade, so recently I haven’t even been able to wear it yet, and I know I’m going to buy Tutti Fruiti anyway, because the yellow center makes me happy.
I like both shades very much. Although coral isn’t the color that comes to my mind when I think of bubble gum.
These lipsticks look creamy with a very soft focus finish. They are lovely, rate reasonably well, but are expensive.
