Oh, that eyeshadow palette. I hope it’s a good one – I love Dior’s shadows when they get them right!
Not exactly on point but the photo of Bella (Gigi? I get them confused) Hadid makes it look like her head is connected wrong. Also, the stretching of the arms in the swatch images is a bit creepy. Whenever those sorts of Photoshop disasters happen, I feel like it distracts me from what I’m supposed to be looking at.
Those are some really bendy arms!
I think it’s Bella. Gigi/Bella, Kylie/Kendall. Whatever. But another photoshop fail that creates funhouse arms and impossible neck positioning. So done w/ ATS.
My arms are super long and skinny just like that and I hate it when people say demeaning things about them. Check out my IG page lebonmaquillage. I used to rake heat of it all the time.
Same here, Bonnie… My arms are long and skinny and look funny when I twist them different ways, and my MIL says my arms are like a kid’s. :o(
Thank you Sandy. I appreciate hearing the same from someone else. I don’t think people realize how hurtful it is to have a body part made fun of. I meant to say above I always take heat for it. ESPECIALLY when brands repost my pics on their page bc people are too much of sissies to say it on my own page and think that I won’t see it on a brands page or possibly just don’t care.
Interested to see how well this eyeshadow palette performs due to it having a cooler, yet festive wintery feel to it. I enjoy using my Backstage 02 cheek palette a great deal, so here’s hoping that the quality is existent in this, too.
Those arm swatches are grotesque in every which way, it’s making me laugh. Why do brands do this?
It’s not grotesque they have long arms just like I do. Look at my IG page LeBonMaquillage. It’s v hurtful when people comment on my “grotesque arms” hey at least I can fit a lot of swatches in.
What a gorgeous palette. The frosty tones are really pretty for winter!
This is beautiful… :o) Excited to see your review, Christine!
I have pretty much loved all of the Backstage line that I have purchased. I really wanted to try the foundation when I was in Seattle last and the Sephora and Nordstrom’s at the Tacoma Mall didn’t carry the Backstage line at all. I was super bummed because I have heard that the foundation works amazingly on older skin. Maybe when I go to California in late October, I will find a place to try it. Interested in the eye shadow palette as it looks like it runs cooler toned overall but I have learned to wait for swatches/reviews. What’s up with the pictures? Bendy arms, LOL! The poor girl in the face picture looks like she is either on the verge of tears or is seriously going to hit someone. Bella works that “dead eye look” for all it is worth. She needs to watch Tyra Banks and learn how to “shmyze” (sp?), I know, I am showing my age !!!
That eye pallette looks identical to the Huda mini Smoky pallette
This looks interesting. I am not sure I like the white packaging and no mirror, it tends to make the product look more DS than it should be. I hope the shadows are good, but you never know with Dior these days.
The E/S palette sure has my attention. Sophisticated, cool colors that aren’t found on a rubik cube or a baby’s mobile! How refreshing! I like it as shown with green eyes —
Nice colors in the eyeshadow palette.
I like the e/s palette. I must be wierd bc I also thought the arms were creative and interesting.
Everyone is commenting about the arms but I’m fairly certain they’re real, my arms look identical. I’ve always hated the teasing I’ve had to endure at their expense.
