Dior Addict Fluid Stick ($35.00)

Flawless application in a single sweep: the high-impact colour and long wear of a lipstick, combined with the shine of a gloss, all in a thin veil that delivers a weightless feel. Colour and shine come together for maximum impact with intense lip stain pigments directly encapsulated in spheres of gloss for long-wearing results. Dior Addict Fluid Stick is formulated with water, not wax, for a light feeling on the lips, an immediate fresh effect and addictive sensation.

A pure object of desire : the illusion of a lipstick is maintained until the case is opened and an applicator emerges that is steeped in colour and as precise and easy to apply as a lipstick.

Isit only me but I don’t know why, the moment i saw this packaging it reminded me of the Maybelline Colour Elixir. The only difference is in Maybelline the packaging is a bit tacky or cheap while Dior looks more classier since it is a high end brand. I suppose for Dior the packaging is more bigger so we get more product, right?

Did u think the same Christine? 🙂

The Maybelline Colour Elixir is 4.43ml/.15 oz and the Dior Fluid Stick is 5.32ml/.18 oz so the Dior does have slightly more product.

I couldn’t stand the taste/smell of the Colour Elixirs so hopefully I fare better with the Fluid Sticks.

I know, it’s funny when two different brands come out with such similar packaging! It reminds me of the Guerlain and Laura Mercier highlighters having the same flower design on their powders.

Does anyone else notice how frighteningly similar it looks to the Maybelline Color Elixirs? Right down to the lipstick bullet illusion in the bottle. I wonder if that’s where the similarities end…

I saw swatches of reuse on a blog, and fell in love with that coral! Of course my Macys was sold out already. I must also have the exclusive Tiny Pink, which is a milky warm pink. I love opaque gloss!

I wish companies would stop vilifying harmless or helpful ingredients to sound like they’re doing something revolutionary or better. Waxes are perfectly fine and enhance the wear time in a wide range of cosmetics.

I just purchased this. Is it supposed to come with a plastic safety seal? I get scared about purchasing items from Sephora because sometimes they’re used.
