Cult Nails Annalicious Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches
Cult Nails Annalicious Nail Lacquer
Cult Nails Annalicious Nail Lacquer ($10.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “shimmery red with an orange influence packed full of red and gold shimmer.” It’s a really rich, intensely ruby-shimmered orange-based red. Cult Nails Evil Queen is a little lighter, no shimmer. China Glaze Poinsettia is a cream and less intense. Chanel Rouge Carat has a finer shimmer and is blue-based. Essie Too Too Hot is a bit brighter. Zoya Lisa is bluer with larger shimmer. Nubar Rosso is darker with larger shimmer.
It’s very nearly opaque in one coat–you really could get away with one. I used this as my pedicure color this week, and I only did one coat. The formula is absolutely flawless; it’s not too thick, not too thin–the polish applies beautifully across the nail without pooling, bubbling, or streaking. It just covers and dries to a shiny finish–and the drying time is actually pretty good. I typically get a full week or more with Cult Nails’ formula, which is absolutely stellar as far as wear goes.
P.S. — How incredible is it that Maria’s daughter created this (and the rest of the collection)? And more incredible that she got her own little launch.

What a great color! I’m a total sucker for orangey shades this summer… 🙂
I also like how it’s a bit glittery but not too much.
That is the most gorgeous red ever! I’ve never bought from Cult Nails before, but I might have to change that now.
Oh, WOW. I’m not into bright nail polish, but that looks just incredible!
What a beautiful color
Way to go, Coco! This is an AMAZING shade. It would be gorgeous as a lip color, too!
Its like your nails are glowing lol.
Car paint!!! More precisely, the prettiest kiddie carnival ride beach buggy paint ever! I’ve always adored those colors, stemming from a young age, hence the residual excitement.
Will something ever get a 5/5 packaging?
There have been several products in the past that have! For nail polish, the biggest thing is the handle – it should be comfortable/ergonomic and rubberized – few brands do this.
@Christine (Temptalia) I never actually thought of this until I tried Illamasqua nail polish. I love the formula, but those square handles are driving me crazy. Orly definitely has the best handles, love the thickness, shape and rubber!
@t_zwiggy the square part comes off and there’s a nice round one under it. 😉
@aQrose Really? I know the butter london and chanel handles work like that, but I haven’t been able to do the same thing with Illamasqua. I probably haven’t pulled hard enough, always afraid of breaking something lol. Thanks for letting me know.
@t_zwiggy You’re welcome! 🙂 I remembered reading it prior to getting my 1st Illamasqua & was so glad I had when I got Muse because I’m not fond of the square part either. 😀 Sometimes I have to tug a little harder on it but I don’t think you’ll break it. Just pull straight up.
I love your brush shot! Also, this is such a fun color 🙂 Coco did a wonderful job.
SOOOOO pretty
You’re killing me with these fabulous Cult Nails reviews!! When I have money leftover at the end of this month, I’m treating myself to some new colors from them!!
pretty
Not a big fan of red polishes, but the golden shimmer makes this one gorgeous.
Oof, pretty!
lordhavemercy – is that pretty or what – it’s like xmas on mars!
