Cult Nails Evil Queen Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches
Cult Nails Evil Queen Nail Lacquer
Cult Nails Evil Queen Nail Lacquer ($10.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is a vibrant cherry red with subtle blue/pink undertones. There are several shades that are similar: MAC Touch of Red is slightly darker, MAC Russian Red is darker, China Glaze Poinsettia is a little warmer, Essie Too Too Hot is richer, and China Glaze Hey Sailor is pretty close.
It’s nearly opaque in one coat, but two are needed for full opacity. It dries down to a fairly shiny finish, and it looks really rich and intense on the nail. The consistency is not too thick or too thin, so it flowed flawlessly across the nail. This was really a dream to use–application was so, so easy. Cult Nails’ formula wears like iron–I get a full seven days with very minor tip wear but no chips. If you’ve been holding out for just the right red cream polish, this is one of the best I’ve come across.

Oooh yeah, that’s my kind of red! I love the look of this one. I need to bite and get into this brand!
A gorgeous colour ! I see the brand is Vegan, so for nail polishes it’s really easy to find either cruelty free or Vegan polishes, Cult nails/Zoya/Deborah Lippmann/Butter London and probably brands I haven’t noted yet, it’s really great when you are a nail polish addict ! Thanks Christine.
I haven’t tried anything from Cult Nails yet–but this polish looks so vibrant and smooth! Definitely have to check them out!
What would make the packaging 5/5?
Better handle – it’s not very comfortable to hold.
It’s not awkward or uncomfortable to the point where it would take off points, but it’s not comfortable enough to earn 5/5.
omg <3 love it
now THAT is red.4-free: does anyone know why camphor is a bad thing? the only thing I can think of is maybe the logging of the trees to extract it is harmful to the ecosystem??
