Cover FX Soft Peach Monochromatic Blush Duo Review & Swatches
Soft Peach
Cover FX Soft Peach Monochromatic Blush Duo ($38.00 for 0.51 oz.) contains a soft, peachy matte blush complemented by a slightly richer, shimmering coral blush. Both products were pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing, and they were consistent with other duos by the brand–another excellent duo!

The duo includes both a "monochromatic matte and shimmer shade" that can be used "individually or layer[ed] together." The blushes are described as having "high-impact payoff" with no other specifics. The consistency of the matte shades was incredibly silky, finely-milled, and smooth without being powdery--they were thinner but not difficult to apply and sat well on bare skin as well as over foundation. The pigmentation ranged from semi-opaque to opaque and was definitely buildable.
Both the matte and shimmer products wore between eight and nine hours on me.

PPermanent. $38.00.
Soft Peach (Left)
Soft Peach (Left) is a light-medium, peachy coral with warm orange undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation that was easily built to full coverage with less than half of a layer more. The texture was velvety, smooth, and finely-milled with a bit of slip, yet it wasn’t powdery to work with at all. The product applied beautifully to bare skin and blended out well along the edges. It had more of a “natural matte” finish that wasn’t flat or dry but not shimmery or satiny either. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading visibly.

Soft Peach (Right)
Soft Peach (Right) is a light-medium, peachy coral with warm undertones and a luminous sheen. The consistency was soft, smooth, and denser without being too firmly pressed in the pan, so I had no trouble picking up product with a brush. The pigmentation was opaque in a single layer but easily sheered out (or used with a lighter hand) if preferred. The blush applied evenly, blended out easily along the edges, and did not emphasize my skin’s natural texture. This shade stayed on well for nine hours on me before I noticed any fading.

The shimmery shades were slightly firmer with more of a powder-gel hybrid consistency that is firmer, denser but is often smoother and more "melted" when applied and blended out on skin. For this type of formula, I'd recommend a moderately dense blush or highlighter brush. Most of the shimmery shades had a luminous sheen--smoother, shinier finish but not intense or metallic. I found that layering the matte over the shimmer to yield a more intense shimmer effect, which is more of a tip from me to you than a pro/con.
Both the matte and shimmer products wore between eight and nine hours on me.

When I try these, this will probably the first one I get. I like the peachy colors, and it looks the most fair-skin friendly out of the line.
This is quite lovely. I do have peachy coral toned blushes that look similar enough to my eyes to the matte side but I don’t have anything close to the shimmery side.
Such a lovely peachy duo! If I didn’t have close enough shades, I would have to give this one a try.
Like Rachel, I think this is one I will get, if they ever come to Australia! A perfect set of shades for pale, warmer skintones. Beautiful shades.
Hi Genevieve, I got an email from Sephora Oz that these are now stocked… we seem to have to wait less and less time for things to be released here 🙂
This is my favorite so far and will be my first choice to pick up from this release. This has been a great release from Cover FX. Here’s hoping it is in stock when I get to Seattle!
I own this and love it! Such a pretty color.
