Copper Eyeliners: Swatches, Dupes, and Comparisons

Copper Eyeliners
Copper Eyeliners: Chanel Peche Cuivre, Giorgio Armani #05, UD Baked, UD Lucky, MUFE #10L

Copper Eyeliners: Your Guide

I feel like I should have more coppery eyeliners, but there were only five that I really felt fit here!

  1. Chanel Peche Cuivre is a warm peach with a subtle sheen. (LE)
  2. Giorgio Armani #05 is a lightened copper with a soft, metallic sheen. (LE)
  3. Urban Decay Baked is a warm copper brown. It is not quite as warm-toned as Make Up For Ever #10L. (DC)
  4. Urban Decay Lucky is a rich copper with strong red and orange undertones.
  5. Make Up For Ever #10L is a warm copper brown. It is a touch warmer than Urban Decay Baked.

TEMPTALIA PICKS:  #4 (pigmentation, longevity), #5 (pigmentation, longevity)

Behind-the-Series:  It was my intention to provide heavy, opaque swatches to provide an accurate color comparison.  Some eyeliners required one pass, some required five, and a few even more.  When possible, the shade name (above) is linked to the original review so you can read more about the quality, wear, etc. of a particular eyeliner.  If we’ve never done a review, there will be no link.  Shades that were limited edition will be marked with “(LE)” and shades that were discontinued will be marked with “(DC)” after the color description.  You can also find all comparisons on The Dupe List.

What’s your favorite copper eyeliner? How do you like to use it?

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I have a really awesome one from Physician Formula (the type that comes in 3 small jars), It’s awesome and it was less then $10 for all 3 (black, copper and gold)

Yay I’ve been so excited for the copper eyeliner swatches, it’s my favourite colour! I love UD Lucky but as you say, it’s hard to find many other copper liners.

Thanks for these awesome comparison posts, the Armani and MUFE copper liners look lovely but I would never have seen them in person, so this is really helpful =D
