ColourPop x Zoella Crème Gel Liners Reviews & Swatches
Sincerely Yours
ColourPop Sincerely Yours Crème Gel Liner ($5.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a dark brown with subtle, warmer reddish undertones and barely-there pearl. The pearl was fine and sparse to the point where I wasn’t sure that any of it translate to my lash line. The texture was firmer with light creaminess, enough that it wasn’t painful to apply, and adhered well to my water line without skipping or pushing product around. It didn’t smudge well as it was firmer and drier, so those who like to blur their liner might not like this one. It wore well for nine hours before starting thin noticeably on my lower lash line and seven hours on my waterline.

XOXO
ColourPop XOXO Crème Gel Liner ($5.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a medium black with subtle, silver and teal pearl. The pearl was extremely subtle, as it didn’t look shimmery applied to my lash line and seemed more like a soft, matte black hue. The texture was just creamy enough to glide across my lash line without tugging, but it never felt waxy or emollient during application (so it set almost immediately and worked better for precision lining than those wanting to soften or smudge their liner). It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer that stayed on well for nine hours on my lower lash line (seven on my waterline).

I really *did* want XOXO, until reading that it would be near impossible to smudge it out a bit, and that the sparkly bits don’t really show up much, if at all. Money saved, I suppose. ?
I love the new look here Christine – very sleek and stylish.
Now to Colour Pop’s gel liners – these are wearable liners, in probably the most popular shades, at an increadibly low price. I just hope that Colour Pop brings more out in different shades. These look really nice.
The new look of your blog is extremely good and baller, Christine.
Thank you, Allison!
Do you think these would apply well for tightlining the upper lashline? I don’t like putting it on my upper waterline, just in the base of the lashes.
They worked on my lower water line, so I think they would, but they’re not super creamy and I do personally find that my upper waterline needs more creaminess because I have to blink onto the liner to do it (I can’t actually keep my eye open and line in strokes) so it’s very hard for me to test the same way!
I just kind of dot it in between my upper lashes, sort of pushing the color in. My go-for this is Chanel Stylo Yeux, but they’re expensive, so I’d like to have good alternatives. At $5, these might be worth a try!
If Stylo Yeux works, these might! I’d say these are a bit less creamy than the good Stylo Yeux shades I’ve tried (I have encountered some stinkers… too stiff).
I can’t help but think that the orange plastic makes the liners look like they’re posing for a mugshot.
The orange packaging is ugly, but I do like the looks of XOXO.
Has anyone purchased any of these lately? I’m wondering if they still have the same breakage issues that they’ve had on me in the past.
