ColourPop x Target: Core Collection - Swatches of All Nine New Palettes
ColourPop x Target Core Collection sees the launch of nine new, permanent eyeshadow palettes that will be available online and in-store at Target (as well as through the brand directly). For those who have lots of ColourPop palettes, most of these will seem like par for the course, but for those new to the brand or who prefer to shop in store, they might be worth checking out. Here are swatches!
I really like Deja Brew (some truth in that name….haven’t we all seen these colours over and over? but I never tire of a good neutral palette) and Gone Metal.
Deja Brew, Gone Metal and Fresh Greens are so perfect for taking on a trip if they don’t want to bring along a more expensive yet similar palete, or even to fill a possible void in ones eyeshadow stash. I also love the Mauvin’ Up Palette, too!
I may pick up Blue Velvet on my next Target run, it’s my favorite color story! I like Fresh Greens too but I have light green eye shadows that I rarely use. I wear blue eye shadow at least once a week.
I think these are better quality than the last ‘Target” specials. I don’t think there is a shade in the rainbow that CP hasn’t done an eye palette on.
Some of the shimmers are quite pretty.
I’m always drawn to palettes like Gone Metal but I only wear cool tones so I have these shades countless times over, many in better formulas. It’s pretty though.
CP’s idea of cool is minimally tweaked from a neutral. I have Fox and Fame and consider neither of those really cool, either. But to be fair to CP, they don’t do too badly with cool-ish.
With mayyybe the exception of Gone Metal, I could easily dupe these with the CP 9 pan palettes I already have. Sadly, Target Australia barely even has a beauty section these days: I’d love to shop Colourpop in the flesh!
Hi, Christine. Thank you so much for these peerless swatches, as always. Do you happen to have a release date for these palettes? I’ve not been able to find any intel via Google search, nor do I see them on Target’s website just yet.
Should be 1/29 for Target!
Timing is everything! I had recently gone through my ColourPop nine pans and decluttered almost everything that I’ve had since pre-2019; I’ve found that most products do not perform as well after three or four years. And then this! I purchased them all after seeing how nicely they swatched. Good basics and staples to keep on hand.
