ColourPop x Hello Kitty Arigato, Supercute, Trinkets Ultra Glossy Lip Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Arigato
ColourPop Arigato Ultra Glossy Lip ($6.00 for 0.09 fl. oz.) is a medium-dark fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and gold, silver, and fuchsia sparkle. It has a Sheer finish, which is apt, as the coverage was sheer. It darkened and added pink to my natural lip color, but it may look quite different depending on what your natural lip color is. The texture was smooth, lightweight, and non-sticky on the lips, which made it comfortable to wear for the three and a half hours it lasted for.

Formula Overview
$10.00/0.11 oz. - $90.91 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "hi-shine" with a "non-sticky" texture that "feels amazing" and includes five finishes "from 3-D pearl to sheer tinted colour." They are designed to be a sheerer formula, so many shades are sheer with a smattering of shimmer or sparkle and then a few are more tinted with sheer to semi-sheer coverage but no shimmer. Each gloss has a short, brush-type applicator, which worked better than I expected and didn't leave streaky results behind (in general). They had a sweet, vanilla scent but no discernible taste.
The "Tinted" finish ("glass-like shine with tint of sheer colour and no shimmer") was the least consistent--sometimes prone to unevenness and getting into lip lines, particularly with deeper/richer shades, whereas Pearlescent ("glass-like shine with subtle shimmer") and Prismatic ("glass-like shine with floating multi dimensional pearl and glitters") are sheer to translucent with the major difference being finer shimmer in the Pearlescent finish and larger, more glitter-like particles in the Prismatic finish. Both finishes tended to look plush and more smoothing on my lips. The Creme finish is a "medium-coverage gloss with a creamy finish that does not contain any pearls or glitter." The Metallic is described as a "full-coverage gloss with a mix of pearl and metallic finishes."
The wear time varied by shade but the sheerer ones tended to wear between two and three hours as the formula was, indeed, non-sticky and smooth, which made them lighter-weight and comfortable to wear but shorter wearing. A lot of the sheerer shades ran together, so I would recommend just picking up one or two rather than several as the differences are likely to be lost! Also, keep in mind that sheerer lip colors can look different from person to person due to much of the natural lip color coming through.

Supercute
ColourPop Supercute Ultra Glossy Lip ($6.00 for 0.09 fl. oz.) is a sheer, pink-based gloss with silver and pink sparkle. It’s the kind of gloss that is mostly sparkle/shimmer, which works well for layering over other lip colors to add shine and shimmer or to enhance your natural lip color without really altering it. It had a smooth, thin consistency that wasn’t too thin, because I didn’t feel the shimmer/sparkles on the lips while I wore the gloss. The gloss wore for just over three hours on me.

Trinkets
ColourPop Trinkets Ultra Glossy Lip ($6.00 for 0.09 fl. oz.) is a medium-dark fuchsia-red with cool undertones and barley-there gold pearl. It had semi-sheer pigmentation that went on fairly evenly with only some color that darkened my lip lines. It seemed significantly more pigmented than a lot of the other Sheer finish shades I’ve tried, though it’s not opaque either. The color was smooth, non-tacky, and lasted for three and a half hours on me.

Christine, I love the new look of the site, but I miss the way you used to show all the products in a review lined up at the top of the post. It really helped me see what was being review in the post and encouraged me to click to see their reviews!
I’m so sorry that it’s no longer as useful for you, Erin!
I’m not really into glosses, but I think all three of these are pretty!
They are fun!
Trinkets is pretty.
It is!
Wow, these all look really nice on! I’m veering towards Supercute, myself. I always love sheerer glittery ones to use as toppers. Surprisingly, I also love Trinkets!
I have all of these. Out of this collection, Arrigato was my fave gloss, it had a pretty base color (mine appears more pigmented applied) and nice shimmer/sparkle. Super Cute was too sheer for my taste, will be fine as a topper, but I was amazed how smooth it was despite all the glitter and sparkles. Trinkets is pretty, but it could’ve been a lot more sparkly (mine barely has any once applied), after all, it’s a Hello Kitty collection! I thought the silver bows on the cap was a nice touch
I love Arigato!! That’s such a beautiful shade with the shimmer!!
