ColourPop Thimble Super Shock Cheek Highlighter Review & Swatches

Thimble

ColourPop Thimble Super Shock Cheek Highlighter ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a soft, light gold with warm, yellow undertones and a metallic sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation when applied with fingertips and medium, buildable coverage when applied with brushes. The highlighter had a smooth, lightly spongy texture that felt wet to the touch but applied and acted more like a powder as soon as it was placed onto the skin. This shade had a noticeable sheen but didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It wore well for over 10 hours on me.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Charlotte Tilbury Gold Bar is about as dark as I can go and Moonstone is way too dark for me as a highlighter. So, I will probably pass on this for now but might look at it for an inner corner highlight when wearing warm toned looks. Looks beautiful and in general, ColourPop highlighters are quite nice.

This whole look is stunning Christine! That should be a go to colourpop hilight for you ?What highlights would you recommend for lighter skin tones (pretty pale) with a neautral/yellow undertone?
Thank you

Thank you for the link! I own many of the A- to A+ ones. I believe The link is for all skin tones. A bit hard to figure out also I have “aging” skin. It is getting harder to find hilighters that look nice and are not dry looking. Have a good day! 🙂
