ColourPop Starflower Pressed Powder Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches

Starflower

ColourPop Starflower Pressed Powder Highlighter ($8.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a medium gold with warm, orange undertones and a metallic sheen. The consistency was soft, smooth, and almost cream-like as it was a denser powder without any powderiness or excess product that kicked up in the pan. It had opaque coverage but was forgiving, so I could easily blend out the powder for sheerer coverage if desired. The highlighter wore well for eight and a half hours on me.

Formula Overview

$8.00/0.23 oz. - $34.78 Per Ounce

The powder highlighter is supposed to have a "high-shine" finish with "high colour intensity." In general, ColourPop's pressed highlighter powders have a smooth, moderately dense texture that was soft enough to be picked up easily by a brush but not kick up any powder in the pan. The formula was semi-opaque to opaque but easily sheered out for less shine and coverage if desired. There were a few shades within the range that emphasized my skin's natural texture slightly but most did not. The wear ranged from seven and a half hours to nine hours.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Although I am probably WAY over the age of Colourpop’s main demographic, I find the vast majority of their products to be simply gorgeous. I *loved* the MLP collection.
